GE Lighting GE LED Bright Stik Light Bulbs, 75 Watt Eqv, Soft White, General Purpose Bulb, Medium Base (2 Pack)

These GE LED lights are great. I have a number of LED lights from different manufacuters, so I'm not new to the technology, and I was still impressed with these. Why? Really great price, a unique shape that both looks good and makes the bulbs exceptionally easy to install and later remove when necessary, and a great light color that is bright without hurting the eyes (note: these come in different wattages, so check before you buy to ensure you get the brightness you want). They do get a little bit warm at the base after being on for a long time, but nothing out of the ordinary.LED bulbs, even when they were first introduced and insanely expensive, paid for themselves over time. These will pay for themselves even more quickly due to their price point and the small amount of electricity they consume. With the cost of electricity these days (this, of course, depends on where you live, but it is pretty much high everywhere), using LEDs throughout your home or apartment is a no-brainer. AND, to boot, keep the packaging in which they come, because if you move, you can take them with you due to their extremely long life span. THe judicious use of bulbs like this can significantly lower your electricity bill each month, and you shouldn't have to replace them for many, many years. Five stars.

These different shaped bulbs are excellent for the ubiquitous "can lights" infecting our nation. Traditional bulbs produce heat. Heat concentrates around the bulbs and they burn out prematurely. These bulbs are different because they produce 1/8th the heat and use 1/8th the energy. You can't go wrong with these bulbs. Be sure to check 2 things: Are they soft white or daylight? Are they dimmable? Get the right bulb and you won't be disappointed. Nor will you be changing bulbs frequently. They last forever!

We bought these to go into a ceiling fan fixture, even though they'll tell you it'll reduce the life of the bulbs. The fixture's not totally enclosed but it might as well be -- it's a dome. I had to finagle the dome over the bulbs to get it to go back on but the bulbs aren't running hot and the glass isn't warm or anything. They're a great color and very handy. I bought the daylight temperature as a backup but we like the warm light much better. Just be careful of your use -- like others have side, they're closer to 5-1/4" than 4-1/2".

Love these they are really bright I use them for my outside lights they last long and are cheaper to use than incandescent

You will not go wrong with these LED lights. The light stays cool, but the base does get somewhat hot, but not like a CFL light base does. Cant beat 12 watts for a 75 watt output lighting! Of course they also take up less space then a CFL or an incandescent lightbulb, if you need a thinner light source as well.

I've used this as an outdoor light over a door for a couple of years...on a timer dusk till dawn. Great life.Now using it in the kitchen to light the prep counter and sink area. Only wish it could be on a dimmer. If so, I'd use them in all the ceiling cans.

The size and shape were perfect for our bathroom exhaust fans and they produce really good light. We had to get 2 sizes and they both produce a good amount of light. Good design.

I don't know how energy efficient these "stick bulbs" are, but the one I had for my back balcony light fixture lasted over 6 years of nightly use and these bulbs are pretty hard to find. But got this one and it works good. No issues.....perfect fit. 5 stars.
