Outstanding value and performance.
Bought a pair. Rain, snow, or shine they catch it all, even the neighbors sneaking through the lot. First night out raccoons and a small cat set them off and we started watching animal movies for entertainment. We live in the middle of the forest and purposely are the only property without a fence to allow the animals to get up and down the mountain. We’ve had elk born on our porch but had no idea how many animals were using the lot. Javelinas, coyotes, foxes, raccoons, squirrels, cows, and a massive mountain lion. These pictures shown are taken in the pitch black in the forest at the rear of our place. That’s a full grown coyote for scale on the size of the lion. He’s over 10’ nose to tail tip and can easily jump on and off our elevated deck. Which is what he did, why I bought the cameras to see how big he was and why my dog hasn’t been out there alone since. The cameras work very well. Trigger could be quicker but for $40 who cares! Most all of the animals can hear the cameras trigger and react in different ways creating some interesting and sometimes cute and funny videos. It’s also interesting to see how they almost all run on a clocklike schedule passing through within minutes of each other at the same time most nights. It’s cool to have them! I have learned to just set them up for video only for better results do to trigger lag. Properly dialed in I get 1-200 videos every 2 weeks and 5-6 months on a full load of 8 AA’s. No problems with the supplied SD cards so far either. I’m buying another 1 or 2 soon for better coverage. Buy them if you’re looking I think you will be happy.

Product description is accurate
The media could not be loaded. Trail Cam ReviewWe received and installed our Vikeri trail camera about four weeks ago so I cannot comment on its long term durability. That said, it appears well built with a good weather seal so I expect it to last a long time.In the short time we have had it the weather where we installed it has varied between 15°F and 45°F and we have had strong winds, rain and snow. The camera worked well through these extremes.I mounted the camera to a tree with the included straps aimed so that wind blown branches are out of the field of view. Its detection capabilities seem to be good without too many false triggers though during the strongest wind gusts there was a couple of recordings of moving branches. The camera has successfully captured animals as small as squirrels at up to 45 feet away and as large as a bear at about 30 feet distance. The bear, a bobcat, and two different coyote recordings were when it was dark and the images recorded using the IR LEDs are quite good. Daylight recordings include the above mentioned squirrels, a neighbor’s dog and a trespasser. Image quality for the daylight recordings is excellent. The camera came with a mount that can be screwed onto a wall or maybe even something like a 4x4 post. But the camera seemed less stable than I wanted so I used the included straps to attach it to the trunk of a large tree. The design of the back of the camera body and the strap system makes this very stable when strapped to a tree. The instructions were clear and setup was straight forward. Setup consisted mostly of the date and time, what information you want burned into the video, video quality, recording length, etc. In most cases the defaults were reasonable and made sense.I am very happy with this trail camera and I am seriously considering getting another one to cover more area around our mountain cabin.

Vendor tried to bribe me twice. Motion detection does not work with different sizes of animals.
UPDATE 2023-02-04Vikeri's 2nd attempt to bribe me for a better review with increased amount. Amazon doesn't seem to care.INITIAL REVIEWTL;DR => The biggest ding comes from the sensors. They do not allow to target smaller and larger animals at the same time, since the motion sensor field of view is VERY narrow vertically.SensorsAs expected it triggers on moving IR radiators only. That's mostly animal/human bodies. But also includes light bulbs, objects that are hot or even anything that moves around in front of a warm body, blocking part of it.What is very handy is that in Test mode the camera flashes a green LED if the front facing sensor triggers and a red LED if one of the side facing sensors trigger. Allows you to test what it triggers on.Unfortunately the field of view of the sensors is VERY narrow vertically, meaning it only triggers on animals that are at least as high as the camera is placed => if you want to catch smaller animals you need to lower the camera otherwise they will walk under the sensor unseen. Of course when you lower the camera you might only see the legs of a larger animal. Pointing the camera downward only results in triggering in a limited area in front of the camera. The horizontal field of view per sensor is better and there are 3 sensors spread out to get to the 120 degree FOV that is claimed.Trigger speed is indeed fast. Definitely less than 1s. And that was tested on the center sensor.IR illuminatorThis unit uses NO-Glow IR LEDs at 940nm. 940nm is completely invisible to the human eye, as opposed to the normally used 850nm, but the camera sensitivity is half as good.PowerNoticed my night time videos had been reduced to 2s, while the video time setting was 40s. The daytime videos were the correct 40s. This seems to be due to my batteries having gone down to a 1/3 (was only using 4). => if you're videos are shorter than expected, check your batteries. You can add a second set of 4 to extend run time.Measured current usage.Less than 1mA while in standby => this is how it gets its long maximum standby time. But if it takes regular long videos, that cuts down on standby time fast.~230mA in full day light. 850mA in dark garage. That means it controls the IR power output such that the image received has sufficient exposure without having to raise shutter time and not wasting power by always blasting IR full tilt. That way it uses less power when there are objects close by or there is some external light from moon or other lights. Unexpected, but very nice.Wished the DC power socket was a larger size, since that is more common for higher currents.UISeemed fine. Some settings are a tad confusing, but you can quickly figure it out.Temperature measurement is a nice feature, but it reports ~6F lower than actual. Tested with thermometer sitting next to it for hours.VideoColors are fine, but noisy during daylight. Can get 4K, but @ only 10FPS. Doesn't really look like 4K resolution compared to other cheap 4k camera, but not bad. See attached screenshots of the videos. You can get higher frame rates by reducing resolution.40s takes about ~200MB. Seems they use MJPEG codec.MiscNicely built. Feels sturdy.Couldn't find newer FW on their website. Only 2 products listed.

Reliable and take good daytime pics
You can review the pictures on the camera. It is easy to format a memory card on the device. Holds a charge for months. Night pictures aren't anything to brag about. The Woo sports camera for the money does a better job day or night.
