This Will Be Remembered of Her: Stories of Women Reshaping the World

Great summary of women of honor and Christian conviction-- She uses scripture references in detail as she shows how they impact the world around them.... Her view of the first sin as "when Cain killed Abel' was thought provoking. as this is the first place sin is mentioned in the Bible. I enjoyed and appreciated her view point.. I found the book first at our church library as recommended by the Women's group.. the author has a Catholic background but our church is Protestant.. The author reaches all Christians-- in all denominations...

This book is good and has many bible references that are very good. It is on our list of reading books for the United Methodist Women. We read several books each year in five different catagories. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to others, I did pass it on for others in our group to read and they enjoyed it also.

The way the author weaves biblical accounts, folk tales and contemporary achievements of women is interesting and challenging. This is not a book to read casually. It won't make sense if the reader isn't willing to really think and connect the dots from the beginning to the end of each chapter. Its worth the effort, believe me!

Too much build up of why these women were chosen and not about their life. They were great choices but it would have been interesting to know more about how they came to make their choices and how it affected others. There was only 1 short paragraph on each woman and many paragraphs of build up.

this was on the United Methodist Reading list and I enjoyed it. It was made up of different stores but all in all I liked it.

Some of this book was a hard read... whether it was because I was not interested or just lost interest while reading. Other stories were great and I got a lot out of them :)

This book is on a required reading list for a group to which I belong. It is interesting to read about what other women have done or are doing to make a positive impact on society.
