I bought this tool because I have never had one before and wanted to give it a shot. I’m happy to report that it works great. So far everything has been accurate within an inch or so, save the few times I forgot trim exists and measured from the wall instead.Obviously, if you’re a professional or if you’re doing something that needs an incredible degree of accuracy this tool lacks the precision you’d get out of much more expensive models. This tool has been great for making measurements around the home for planning furniture. Certainly, easier than buying an expensive, extra-long, tape measure for that one long wall in your open floor plan.The tool itself is about 4 and a half inches long and when I first started using it I was adding that number manually. After reading the instructions, I found there was an option to have it add that in automatically when you're measuring. it comes with rechargeable batteries that last for a while. I've been using the tool on and off for about a week and I'm only down to half power. Its a good, cheap, tool for someone who is looking into getting into a laser tool over a standard tape.

The laser measurement tool was very easy to use and accurate at the distances I was measuring. The device is compact and has an easy to read display. The buttons are intuitive and charging is a snap with a USB C connector. I would recommend for homeowner use.Since writing my last review, the display is defective and hardly legible. I only used the item about 6 times and not at all in the past three months. I have had the device about 14 months. The batteries are charged and I can barely read it in low lighting.

I liked that you could do many measurements, length, area volume calculations.I also liked that it was easy to hold.I wished the functions were easily understood from the screen, but at least I could not decipher all the functions from the icons provided, need to resort to manual for other than basic length measurements.One unfortunate feature, is that for any measurement outdoors, you will be completely unable to read the screen, at least without cupping the thing with your hands, so it is limited to indoor usage.Indoors, it is easy to use, turn it on and the measurement displays, it can include or exclude its own dimension from the measurement, and it provides an average of all its readings, providing a good estimate of the distance.

We recently moved into a new house that needed a lot of renovation and after getting frustrated with the retractable measure multiple times I was looking for something better. First off, I was impressed with all the accessories this came with. Along with the unit I received batteries in a case, cleaning cloth, bag and USB charging cable (no charging brick but honestly I have so many of them). Using it for the first time it has a ton of features and they're all super easy to use. I checked the accuracy against my old measure and it's spot on. I did notice that it turns on while charging but the seller responded quickly to advise that's to prevent overcharging and normal operation. All in all very happy with this product and my trim work looks way better now!

It's okay. Measures accurately, but turns on by itself while charging.

The product is very accurate for my needs it was never off by more than 1/8 of an inch. This is perfect for measuring rooms or enclosed spaces on site visits. I use this once or twice every week since I got it and its been a month since my purchase. So far I didn’t have to charge it even once. For the purpose of this review, I charged it using my car’s cigarette port charger with the usb cable and it reached full charge from 60% to 100% in an hour or so. Its very easy to use and the switches do not stick out too much so it can easily slide into my pocket. So far I would highly recommend this product.

I'm a carpenter. Typically build decks, patio covers, pergolas, etc. I haver fully trusted this to use it on the jobsite by itself (been verifying with tape measure), everytime I check, its been within a 16th at worst, up to 23'(furthest I've checked so far), which is pretty good all things considered as there could be a few variables in place on my end. If you're on the fence, just do it. It's one of the cheaper options, and looks nice.P.S. I was going the screen would be brighter but no. Better seen indoors

Looks like these fly-by-night companies will ship you bad batteries that will not last one full charge and then disappear from Amazon's site after their warantee expires...

Can’t see where you pointed at 30m range. The beam to small.

This product works great except for one thing . . . it can't accurately be used on its end. Which is the primary use I have for it (measuring wall to wall). The base is not straight (see attached photo). It is ~1.72° off. This may not seem like much, but it means that if you aim the laser across a 10m room, its target is 30cm off where it should be, which is a significant design fail.
