Disappointed
I got hooked in this series because it is charming, offers a fascinating insight on Japanese culture, and it usually pays a lot of attention to detail, particularly keeping track of the various threads that the story has been developing.I liked the way in which the author had started to focus on the lives of some of the characters, developing them further, such as with Komi’s parents, or Katai and his family. It would be really interesting to get further insight on what makes Najimi tick, for example. It was rather shocking, therefore, to find that this book is so much more superficial than the previous editions. It feels rushed. The vignettes are often incoherent, and the quality of drawing, particularly at the beginning, is downright cartoonish. It is also disappointing that in the last few stories Najimi, who started out as a key character, and has one of the most interesting personalities, seems to have lost importance, and is usually reduced to being a basic smiley with two lines for hair.I have preordered the next book with high expectations, but if the quality story and art continues to decrease as with this book, it may be the last I buy.Too bad; I think there is still a lot that can be done with Komi’s world, so I don’t see the need to rush and cheapen it.

great volume
This probably one of the best volumes. From start to finish. Dunno but the end was special and it’s nice to see the class and Komi growing.
