MinouraBottle Cage Holder Horizontal Handlebar Mount

The item looks like its well made and very durable, however it did not fit my handle bars. I ride a road bike with drop handlebars and the handlebars at the neck were too large for the “U” brackets to go around. I don’t recall seeing the size of the holder on the description when I ordered it but the packaging with the holder says it fits 22 mm diameter handlebars. Apparently mine are larger than 22mm. My recommendation is to measure the diameter of your handlebars where the holder will be attached prior to ordering.

Be careful. The little plastic sleeves that protect the handlebar from the metal clamps wore through and the clamps pressing against the handlebar left dents in it. More rugged sleeves should be designed. In the meantime, make your own to avoid the same fate.

I've tried a lot of different handlebar bottle holder adapters; they crack, they slip around on the bar. I've tried using rubber under them. This Minora product simply locks on and doesn't budge. I don't usually write reviews but I have so much experience with inferior bottle mounts. Note with the Minora, put a little grease on the bolt threads so that one doesn't strip threads. Don't worry about tightening so that the bolt pops the cap of the nut off either. Just tighten right down and at the end be weary of stripping threads. It can happen but it wont if the mechanic is just aware. Again this mount is the most secure bar none.

just what i needed to mount onto my straight handlebars. fits perfectly and it's still used even until this day. It's been 2 years since i had this.

The width of the bracket was too narrow to fit across the center of my trek 7300 handle bars. Ended up moving the bracket to one side of the handle bars which resulted in a workable but odd angle. Otherwise the bracket is of very high quality.

Great for older bikes that don't have the welded frame inserts. Sits very snugly and location is very convenient to access when riding. Adjustable screw works well and hasn't backed off or loosened yet.

These seemed like the best option for my bike, but when I went to put on my handles bars, it did not fit.

うかつにも　アヘッドステムなのに購入してしまいました・・・　 そういう注意書きは無かったので　最初からステム先端の頭との干渉を考えもしなくて気にしなかったのがいけなかったのですそれでも薄い鉄板で出来た製品でしたので　この商品に付属していたハンドルバーに固定する為のUボルトの傷防止用のビニールチューブを外して ねじの長さを確保して 無理やり取り付けたら　アヘッドステムの先端に干渉しているためボトルケージを取り付ける角度が　地面に対してとんでもない角度となり　ほぼ水平になりました地面に対してほぼ水平のボトルゲージの取り付けでは意味がありませんし見栄えも最低です　そこでこのステーとボトルケージを壊す覚悟で　ボトルケージを取り付けた上で　手で無理やりこのステーを押し曲げてボトルケージの角度を　何とか見られる角度にしました先端に厚みのあるアヘッドステムではOUT！　先端の薄いクイルステム等はOKですので　購入する場合には干渉なしで取り付けられるかどうか注意が必要です

タイトルのとおりの評価です。購入した自転車のメーカーサイトでハンドル中央にステンレスボトルを取り付けた写真を見て、雰囲気のよさに自転車を買ってしまいました。同じような装備をしたくてパーツを探した結果、この商品にたどり着きました。色が黒でなくステンレスであればもっと雰囲気もよかったのですが・・目的は達成できたので満足しています。但し・・・サイズ的に結構シビアなものですので取り付けできない状況もかなりの確立で発生しそうです。購入の際にはご注意を。

ハンドルバー部分にボトルケージを増設すると、ツーリングの途中で信号待ちなどのちょっとした時間に水分補給できて良いですね。簡単に取付けできますが、袋ナットの締め付けを加減しないと、調子に乗って締め付けていると袋ナットを破壊してしまいますので注意。他には特に注意点もなく、軽くて良い製品だと思います。

ブロンプトンのハンドル手前側につけています。固定力使用感耐久性ともに満足しています。板厚が3、4ミリ程度なので、ボトルゲージのネジがフレームに接触しないようにだけ注意です。

デザインも良く作りもしっかりしていて大変良くできていると思います。ただ、ハンドルの中央部に取り付ける仕様であるにもかかわらず取付金具（Ｕ字ボルト）が若干短めで、一般車（子供のスポーツタイプの量販車）に取付の際苦労しました。ウォーターポンププライヤーを駆使しスプリングワッシャーを断念しやっと取付できました。あと２㎜程度ボルトが長ければ満点ですね。
