Fantastic Electric Bike with Exceptional Customer Service - Thanks Isaac!
Got it, here's the updated review with the additional details you provided: "Fantastic Electric Bike with Exceptional Customer Service I'm very pleased with my purchase of the Totem Electric Bike in white. As a shorter female rider, I was a bit hesitant about the size, but the upgraded adjustable stem makes it easy to customize the handlebar height and angle for a perfect fit. The overall build quality of the frame and components is very impressive, and I found the bike to be super easy to put together when it arrived - the instructions were straightforward, which I really appreciated. I preferred the white color because I felt it would make me more visible to others in the city where I live. However, be sure to check your local city ordinances and trail regulations, as you may need to wear a helmet and other protective gear, especially when riding at higher speeds like the 20 mph this bike can reach. Even if you don't think you need it, I highly recommend investing in a helmet and other safety equipment, especially for younger or less experienced riders. These additional expenses are worth it for the protection. The 350W motor provides ample power, allowing me to effortlessly tackle hills and reach speeds of up to 20 mph. The 36V 10.4Ah removable battery provides excellent range, easily lasting for my longer rides. The 21-speed gears give me versatile pedaling options to match any terrain. What really sets Totem apart, however, is their exceptional customer service. In one of the very few times I've had a company reach out to me directly through Amazon, Totem demonstrated their commitment to ensuring a positive customer experience. I did encounter an unfortunate situation where I needed to return the bike, but Totem's support team was fantastic. They promptly approved the return and worked with me to provide a full refund, even though they were temporarily out of stock in the white color I had originally purchased. The process was smooth and their patience was greatly appreciated, especially as I had to wait until I had finished moving to complete the return. Even though they tried to replaced my bike directly, I will be repurchasing my replacement through them with the same bike (hopefully) in a different color. I would highly recommend going directly to the Totem Bike Customer Service page and calling them if you happen to have any issues or questions. Amazon was originally making it difficult to get my questions answered, but I got in touch with Totem Support and they have been super amazing. One thing to note is that this e-bike is quite heavy, so keep that in mind if you need to lug it up any stairs. It comes in a easy carry box (even though its 75+lbs) which made it easier to get upstairs. I will be repurchasing my replacement through them with the same bike in a different color. Overall, I'm thrilled with my Totem Electric Bike. The performance, quality, and customer service have been exceptional. I'm looking forward to many more miles of enjoyable and eco-friendly riding on this fantastic e-bike upon repurchase.

Great electric bike for the price!
Have had these bikes (2 of them) for 3 years now, and still VERY happy! Solid, easy shifting, great battery life, and a great looking bike overall! Wife and I ride all over now. It's nice to ride in 'assist only' mode or full electric. Even without assist, bike is simple and very capable. I assembled them both with the simple directions. For the price and features you CANNOT beat the price and quality.

Good bike
Good price. My first electric bike, old guy here. I need a little extra boost on hills. Relaxed ride, This provides much more power than I want. It has a throttle boost, and pedal assist it is either both or nothing. I would have like to separate the two modes. Battery life is good.

Good beginner bike bad battery
Fantastic beginner bike but the battery is garbage. The bike is pretty easy to put together my only gripe with it is I’ve had this bike for a month and the battery has started having issues I use to be able to get around town multiple times on a single charge. But lately my bike has been dying after just 3 miles of use. If you’re deciding between a ebike and a gas powered diy bike I suggest just getting a diy kit. Which I’m doing the same soon. I’ll be swapping over to gas. It’s also important to note that if you live in a really hilly area even going up just a small hill can drain a bar or two.

Challenging instructions, bad battery, missing seat parts
Update: the seller contacted me in about 24 hours, offering assorted solutions. However, I had a really bad experience recently with Amazon, and literally spent more than 50 hours on the phone and cycling through their text prompts, trying to get a resolution. Even after resolution, we had to keep starting the cycle again, as they claim, they never received the product, when the warehouse had already given them confirmation. Because of that horrible horrible experience, I have decided to just return the bike entirely, and not try to troubleshoot the various issues. Original review—Cool looking bike. Probably lighter than most; if you’re strong, you can load it into your SUV. The front tire has an easy release lever. The paint looks good and the bike seems solid. I think the seat would be comfortable. I like that it has so many speeds and comes with reflectors and a bell. Assembling it was difficult. I’m 60, but I do most things myself and I’m fairly strong. But the instructions frustrated me enough to make the whole assemble seem harder than it actually was. The instructions lacked many diagrams with parts labels. I had to guess what they were talking about. A few items needed to be removed before assembling, but this is not indicated. A few parts require a Phillips head screw driver. Allen wrenches and a wrench were included def, but the screw driver was not. The allen wrenches are soft. Use them carefully as not to strip the nuts. There is no way to secure the seat—I can’t tell if there are missing parts, because diagrams are lacking close-ups. But you can’t ride it two feet with the seat swiveling. It’s hazardous. But the biggest issue is that the battery arrived with three green lights lit and one red light lit, indicating it was 3/4 way charged. The charging cord does not fit snugly into the battery; it feels kind of loose. And the battery doesn’t charge at all. It says 3 hours in some places and up to six, in others. I tried two days in a row, unplugging in between, charging three hours the first day and six hours the second day. No battery response. So we tried getting it to start with the current charge, just to see if it would. It did not. There is also a problem with getting the frame, the tires and seat lined-up. They look wonky. The break cable rubs on the tire; I had to move it twice in the four feet the bike was pushed. A guard was included to protect (the shifter?) but there were no screws to attach it. I’ve contacted the seller. I’ll try to sort these things out; if not, I’ll return it and update my review.

Rewrite of review. This is a very entry-level bike into e-bikes. It's on the smaller scale than a regular size bike. I would say the motors are working perfectly. I would say I had issues with the electronics but seems like one of my sensors in my brake was broken so it was causing issue when I was trying to stop and the bike was just running out on itself. That's fixed now. I fixed it myself. I drove the bike for about 70 km now which I got to say is pretty good but I hit a pretty big bump and the bike wouldn't shift anymore. I went to a local bike shop and they told me that the parts I had in the back was basically all bent and had to be replaced. So after spending about 150 bucks getting the back and the front redone seems like the bike is doing good. I'm still under 1,500 bucks total with this but as I was saying this is a very very entry level and this is why it's so cheap
