I purchased the medium roast cold brew coffee for my cold brew urns. This ground smelled delicious and fresh from the moment the bag opened to the last spoonful. It has a very smooth flavor at 100gr per 4 cups of water at 36 hours in the fridge, gentle tasting but strong caffeine roll on. The brew has a nice dark color with almost no acidity. This has become one of my favorite cold brew grinds.

Purchased this brand of coarse ground coffee for cold brew due to the affordable price and while I tempered my expectations a bit, it absolutely delivers on the end result. I brew my cold brew coffee in a very large jar with a filtered bag using a 1:8 ratio of coffee grounds to water for about 16 hours at room temperature. I had no issues with the coffee grounds leaking through the bag or creating any sludge so the grind is great on this. I've noticed other reviewers complaining about the inconsistent grind so I will update this if I experience that with future purchases. Taste came out fine as well. I drink it straight black at the 1:8 ratio and I like it. It doesn't blow me away but it's perfectly acceptable and delivers a smooth and enjoyable taste. I'm sure most people would prefer to add cream, milk or sugar to their drink which will further enhance the flavor but just note that even the straight black result is still enjoyable. I was more than satisfied with my first experience with this ground coffee and I'll be purchasing it again in the future. I'll update my review if I encounter any issues with future purchases but for now, I highly recommend trying this ground coffee if you're looking for an affordable option.

This is decidingly ok coffee. Then why did I give it a 5 star rating? Because I couldn't give it a 4.5. This is not some epicurean delight or life changing coffee - if that's what you are looking for, then you wouldn't be checking out some coarse pre-ground bagged coffee on Amazon. This gets the job done, it's inexpensive, tastes like coffee and makes a decent cold brew. I mean, you're going to add stuff to it anyway. By the time you finish adding some type of milk, sweetner and/or flavored syrup, paying for some expensive coffee is just silly. Why 4.5? Because, as others have mentioned, the grind isn't consistent. But, that's easy enough to deal with - just use a finer mesh filter.

I would say it tastes better than the crap D-nkin serves. It's got a rich flavor. The caffeine content might not be enough for some. The intention was to use it to fill my iced coffee mason jar coffee maker. Does the trick. If you aren't a coffee snob or you're looking for a cheaper option than D-nkin, try it. Good value. Will buy again! 👍

This is one of the best, if not the best, cold brew coffees on the market for taste and value. Smooth, non acidic, strong but not overly strong, and little to no residue in the brewing process.

I don’t write many reviews. I took a chance purchasing this coffee which don’t have many reviews to save a few bucks and to save some time in the morning making my cold brew. Normally I buy whole beans and grind them myself, but sometime I don’t want to deal with the mess I make after grinding the beans. Final verdict is this is well worth the cost and makes some of the best cold brew I’ve made at home. Just a few scoops, place in water, wait 24 hours and I have go-go juice for the morning. Will be buying again and already shared with several friends. My only complaint, is the resealable tape to keep the bag closed only worked one time. Oh well. Stuck it in a gallon ziplock bag. Problem solved!

Pros, it's super cheap coffee and works great for making cold brew. Cons, it's super cheap and makes a bitter brew. I wouldn't buy this stuff again.

I have always loved Iced Coffee, but I have hated the price in the local coffee shops. This coarse-ground coffee is PERFECT for cold-brewing a pitcher full of delicious full-bodied iced coffee in the refrigerator overnight. Cold brewing always takes more coffee than standard hot brewing, partly because it's brewed by infusion rather than hot water extraction and partly because it has to be coarse ground. Anything more finely ground will result in sediment (sludge) in the bottom of your cup. But this particular grind produces a rich, full-bodied taste that will really hook you, as it did me!
