For me, 5 is the magic number of slices, for an average 6-8 inch sized pie.It's not too much, but not too little of a serving either.But for whatever reason, trying to cut a pie in 5ths is a struggle.I was happy to find this pie marker.It isn't a cutter.. I think some people were confused in their reviews.This just marks where to cut the pie.Works fantastic. Takes the guesswork out.Makes for 5 neat, clean, even pieces every time. Easy to use and clean. Well made.

I used to have a terrible time dividing a meal that everything was equal. Now that I bought this it is great!! I just put it on the top and it scores it and then I cut where the marks are. It is great. Now no one can complain that their piece is bigger again.

This is wonderful for marking where to cut for 5 pieces. However, as I have learned, aluminum does not do well in dishwashers. I now wash all my aluminum pans, cookie sheets, and utensils by hand so they do not get the gray film caused by the dishwasher.

This works but for some reason it’s wider than the pie so it makes it hard to press it down enough to make the cutting marks. It works but it would be much easier if it was just a little smaller in diameter.

Although this doesn't quite work the way I need it to for my 9" pies, I improvise to make it work. Great for 10" or larger

I like the ease of a 10 slice cookie cake cutter but the slices are not equally divided. At work we still have to adjust the slices in order to make them equal. It’s a good product to cut slices if you’re not needing equal pieces.

Had to prepare 16 apple pies for cutting , marked the crust very well

No where in the description does this say it's not dishwasher safe. It does say it's stainless steel. So I put in my dishwasher just like all my stainless and it comes out gray with grunge wiping off of it.

I own a cheesecake kitchen, these are one of the best tools that I use daily.

I picked this up for the post office and this is how it was when I opened it!
