SURATTHANI THAILAND "The city of 100 islands, delicious rambutan, big shells, egg yolk, sources of Dharma",this is the slogan of Suratthani Province THAILAND where in Ban Na San District is the source oflong-termed famous Rongrien Rambutan, because of its distinctive flavor differing from rambutans in other areas. From the past to the present, when it is time to harvest, the rambutans will be over-demand, resulting to low price; therefore, some agriculturalists have an idea to process rambutans for sales by applying local wisdoms which is stirring, a fruit preserves method. However, the problems and limitations are short preserved duration, design of packages and the production depending on its harvest season that is why they cannot expand the market and offer distribution throughout the year. According to the aforementioned problems and limitations, Nasan Food Products Co.,Ltd., incorporated in 2010 with THB 1,000,000 of registered capital under Ms. Ratanaporn Banterngjit, has imported technologies used in production process and package design improvement, including cold stores to keep materials, already preparation for yearly production In year 2013, Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR) is a state enterprise to follow special policies of Royal Thai Government, it is under Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment. TISTR completely educated the company on production technologies by proposing related research to apply fruit preserves production and better design of packages. In year 2014, the company has participated in Thailand Food Quality to the World, an activity to develop Thai food factories, aiming to increase export capacity by permanently reducing cost of production and Green Productivity in collaboration with National Food Institute, an associated company of Industry Ministry
