It is a long series, but well worth the read.

great book series

Had a printing issue where the box set had 2 of 1 book and was missing another one, but seller worked with us and we got it resolved. 5 stars for their customer service!

Not going to go too much into the books as I feel like they are pretty well known at this point. Probably his best work. The last 3 were rushed and it shows, especially adding himself in, was very dumb and the end fight was very disappointing but I still really enjoyed this series. Used to own the hardbacks and after moving a bunch of times think I gave them away. I see some people complaining about the numbering but honestly i’m fine with it since the Keyhole book is an afterthought he added later. All in all, if you are a King fan I absolutely recommend this set and series.

These books are probably one of the best series out there, especially by Mr King himself. I'm glad this was on sale wii bought it, because it was such a good deal. I love having box sets of books, especially when they're a good series like this one. These books are definitely worth the read!

If you love Stephen kings work and have never read the dark tower series i highly recommend them. Uncover secrets that meld into his other books and discover a universe within that is vividly painted, but remember you’re only goal is to reach the towers.

The product itself is great, I just wasn't thrilled with the way it arrived. The plastic wrapping was broken, as well as the outside collector's box. The books are all ok other than one or two that looked as if they may have been dropped in shipping. Maybe there needs to be added padding added for shipment.

You never know what to expect with this series. Very fun!

Any writer would be proud to have written this series and could have taken rest of career off. Its amazing!

Stephen King is a consistently terrific, not to mention prolific, writer. However, his "Dark Tower" series, which he began writing at age 17, far over-reaches all of his other writings. He himself refers to it as his grand masterpiece, and I fully agree. This series is much less gory than many of his works, yet filled to the brim with thrills and nightmares, hopes and dreams, and even love. Even if you have shunned King in the past, you must beg, borrow, or steal (well, you don't have to go that far!) to get your hands on this series. By the end of the first paragraph you will be hooked, and you won't be able to put them down until you've read the last one...and then you'll probably want to start all over again, as I did!!
