Quiet and solid
This little machine runs great and does a wonderful job. It is easy to set up and operate and I'm very happy with the job it does. I did call the company for some customer service when I first received it and was very disappointed that I neither got a live person nor did they respond to my message requesting urgent help. As it turned out, I resolved the issue without their help but I have serious doubts about the quality of their support.

Great Grinder for the Stained Glass Enthusiast
I have found this grinder to be perfectly functional. Mine happens to be pretty loud, but I've experienced that the 'exact same' grinders often make varying degrees of noise. The whole grinder was easy to set up, and the grinder bit has held up very well to probably 2 hours straight of grinding so far. For someone doing projects at home I could see this grinder lasting for years. I give it only 4 stars because in the end it's louder than I'd like, and I have a rough time moving my smaller pieces of glass over the surface of the grinder sometimes, because the plastic catches the glass.

Love this grinder!
I bought this to work in my studio. It is working great. If the day comes and it does not work I will definitely get another one. It grinds very smooth and I have not had to change the bit as of yet. I use it everyday in my projects. The shipping was just as they said. Wonderful service from this shipper.

Not good...
Well, the gift was for an old friend who also, lives far away ... when the product finally received the Glass Grinder ... he called me and said "thank you friend, I loved it, shame that came with parts broken"

No face shield
I am annoyed this product didn't come with any sort of face shield, it makes it almost impossible to safety use. Although I was wearing eye goggles, and only grinding a handful of small pieces, ground up glass kept shooting up into my face and up my nose. That was yesterday, and today I can feel little microscopic cuts around my mouth...and that is only from using the product for a few minutes. So I just had to shell out 20 bucks to but the face shield separately.

Love it
Works great. Nice little grinder very easy to move. What I dont like is once you put the grinding bit on you cant take the water resivour out so u will need to take the whole thing to thesink to dump it out that's the only down side. This is the first I have owned so maybe all are like that!

Exactly what I was expecting
This grinder was exactly what I was expecting and hoping to get. We were using it in a fused glass class for jewelry making. Now I need to find the attachment that will grind a groove into the side for the wire to go into.

Works great
Ordered to sand down drinking glasses, knowing it's a stained glass grinder. Got rid of jagged edges quickly with the bit that was included. Then I used a higher grit (320) to smooth more, but it still chipped a tiny bit, so then I went over with 600 and that didn't chip. I still had to go over it by hand to smooth edges out enough for drinking, but I know this isn't the ideal machine for sanding glasses. I recommend for hobbyist use for its intended purpose
