Best damn ice cream spoon known to mankind😎

If you like shoveling massive amounts of ice cream into your gorge from a cereal bowl with your meaty cudgel hands, then these are not the spoons for you. You will be disappointed by the small size that doesn't look right in a cereal bowl and by the thinness of the handle's metal.If you like dipping at your European-portion dessert from a dainty cut-glass dessert cup, then these may be perfect for you. If your cup is expensive crystal instead of cut-glass, then you may be disappointed by the shallow ridge that runs along the outside of the underside of the handle, the purpose of which is to give a greater edge thickness to the metal for a better feel in the hand and possibly a bit of perpendicular structural support, while at the same time getting away with using less metal in its production. You won't generally find this trait in the better tableware companies, such as Pfaltzgraff or Lenox, and if you do, I suspect it will be better executed for the purpose of weight reduction in their more hefty flatware, not to skimp on metal in already thin/light flatware.In short, this spoon is small and they probably should have used more metal, but the metal is nonetheless fairly strong, and the overall impression of quality is high, so long as it is used on its own with a small dish, and not set out next to higher quality flatware.

I love these spoons. I tried to describe why I like these spoons to someone else and realized they probably think I eat ice-cream weird.I savor my ice-cream so I like smaller bites and these spoons fit the bill for that. The handle is comfortable, especially when you’re excavating or scraping a good vein. You can dig and scrape the walls of your pint easier, too. These spoons are slim but strong. You shouldn’t try scooping ice-cream out of a carton with them but I’ve cut through many hard pints and I haven’t bent one yet. The blunt end doesn’t feel sharp or unfinished when you wipe it clean with your lips and because it’s smaller and doesn’t have a deep bowl you can clean off every bite without getting sticky lips. I use them to eat yogurt, too. And for a while I used them to scrape every last bit of canned cat food— but the metal scratched them pretty bad. This is my third set.

I really wanted to write a review because I just love these spoons. I know they are sold as “Ice Cream” spoons but personally I think they are the perfect Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato, Caffelatte or even American Coffee spoon!!! I had purchased the WMF Manaus / Bistro Espresso Paddle, Set of 4 from Amazon and I love them but only for Espresso in the Espresso cups. (Personally I feel they are just a little to short for the Cappuccino Cups.) In any case these spoons are the perfect size for the other size cups. (See pictures attached with the two spoons/paddles) Also for those of us that love tea and honey this spoon is great for scooping honey out of the jar. The flatness of the spoon helps to cut the honey off real nice making less drips and mess all over the side of the jar or counter top.

Are these spoons “a must” ? No but even though ice cream is great on its own with any ol spoon, these spoons make ice cream that more enjoyable. My daughter told me about these spoons so I ordered them and now I ordered them for my son

These spoons were my fiancé's favorite Christmas gift of the year. They are simply the cutest little spade-like spoons that make savoring ice cream even more enjoyable (believe it or not). There is something strangely satisfying about making progress down the pint of ice cream you're working on in perfectly flat increments. I even noticed that it helped us eat our ice cream slower, which enhanced the flavor and experience.We like ice cream. A lot.These spoons are on the smaller side, about the size of a restaurant teaspoon I'd say, but we didn't want oversized spoons for our ice cream anyways. The smaller size and straight edges also come in handy when eating foods like yogurt and pudding cups because clearing the sides is more efficient. Never miss a yogurt drop again!

I've bought novelty spoons in the past, including "ice cream spoons." The previous set of ice cream spoons I bought are great, except for a few fallbacks (too short, and only 3 to a pack).These ice cream spoons from RSVP seem to eliminate the fallbacks of my other spoons.PROs:- length - they are just over 6 inches in total length.- ladle size - about 1.5 inches x 1.25 inches.- pure stainless steel---they've yet to rust, dull or scratch.- the front of the spoons have "corners" making it a lot easier to pierce through frozen ice cream.The only con I've found is that they can bend. They don't bend easily, but they will start to bend if you apply enough pressure.Overall, I would definitely buy these again, as well as recommend them to anyone looking for some superior ice cream spoons.
