Q: Is this the same thing as kraft tangy italian spaghetti dinner but without the nasty rope they call pasta?

Outside of my wife’s homemade spaghetti this is better than 99% of the restaurant you eat at. We have been buying this product for over 40 years . It is delicious the spaghetti is wonderful we add our own meatballs and sausage and in a quick fix we buy it by the case . Enjoy !!

Q: Can I buy just the spice mix?!

@ $1.50/box You can toss the rest of the package use just the spice mix and a better grade of pasta and still be ahead of the game, but I find all dried spaghetti to be about the same. I always prepare two boxes at once using the tomato paste plus two cans of low salt chicken broth for one and a 14 oz. can of tomato sauce or stewed tomatoes for the other with 1 lb. of browned ground meat and a can of mushrooms. Outstanding.
