This hub is TERRIBLE!A mouse will constantly skip around and lose it's connection randomly no matter what type of distance you have from the receiver; which is enough to not purchase...but wait there's more!This hub "captured" my microSD card. You could not remove it. It got jammed in there so easily. Unreal.Lastly, and what brings me here today, the USB ports just randomly don't work anymore.I have owned around 20 hub devices. This is the worst so far. Do not buy.

Compact adapter and very lightweight
Nice compact adapter and very lightweight. Ideal for traveling as it takes up very little space in the typical laptop case. Great performance on the GigE port and 2 x USB 3.0. Has sufficient power for external hard drives, but not practical for charging phones. Would have liked the inclusion of a USB-C to avoid losing the laptop port, but for the money it works really well and i'm very pleased with the product.

Unit does not function properly with both USB ports taken, i.e., when one port is used, the other won't. I tried this unit on 3 different machines, running windows 8.1.I contacted the seller and they did not reply after 5 business days.2 stars as of yet. I did not try yet the internet and sd card capabilities.

I have a new back book and it's so hard to find a good adapter that you can carry everywhere and this is great for the price and for the quality I will definitely recommend that

Cuts in and out, then stops working entirely
This product worked great at first, and now that I've been using it here and there for the last year the connection skips in and out and then stops working entirely after being plugged in for 5 minutes. Having to replace it already despite light occasional use..... major bummer!
