I have really enjoyed reading this account of an encounter with this Toltec master! I am a huge Don Miguel Ruiz fan and have all of his books, but I cannot get enough of the Toltec energy, so I went online to search out more sources, and of course the first links were AMazon!!! I chose this and several others and I think other than Don Miguel this is my favorite! Well written and very authentic, Oliver does not claim to be any kind of a Toltec master he is just a guy like you or me and that is what I think makes ti so real and fascinating to read....

Awesome book

Forgiveness is a foreign concept to me. I'm a master of holding a grudge and I have a memory an elephant would admire when it comes to wrongs - both real and perceived. I've been told I should 'let it go.' 'Get over it.' 'Move on.' 'Forgive yourself.' I don't get it. I wanna get it. I bought this book to help me understand and liked it very much. I'll have to read it again, because I forget to forgive. Forgiveness is a state of being and a condition. I'm a work in progress. The seller was great! It was an easy transaction and speedy delivery.

Found several little pearls in this book, making it worthwhile, five stars is reserved for original Toltec teachings by don Miguel Ruiz, The Four Agreements and Mastery of Love. The beauty of most Toltec teachings is the simplicity of the words. Domestication, and all our personal agreements make it seem so complicated. This book's focus, is for everyone, lack forgiveness of ourselves and of others only limits the person not doing the forgiving, limiting freedom and possibilities.

Opens your view mind heart and soul makes one look at things a different way.

It's a small but powerful book, I had issues with forgiveness and when I asked other people about it I just got conflicting information. It answered by questions and made it easier for me to let go of the past and understand my participation in the events that occurred. It freed me up, just amazing what a simple exercise can do I would recommend it to any one who has held on to pain and anger just a compassionate way to deal with it.

The Gift of Forgiveness is just what I needed to learn. This year 2023 I decided to do a Year in Forgiveness while reading A Course in Miracles which I do recommend everyone should read. This for me has given me leave of mind just reading it and then practice daily The Gift of Forgiveness. I have it on Kindle and so wish now to have it in my hand as a real book to re-read again and again. I have really enjoyed another fine practice of Forgiveness with this book, it sure makes me feel more at peace with what I am working on. Thank you, so well written and explains the reasons as to why we should forgive and even an understanding as to our late 👑 Queen Elizabeth 2nd forgiveness she believed in for so long.

A wonderful gift from the author for us all. Simply written in a page turning style this little book contains such truth and know how as to how to regain the openness of our heart. as is usually the case with all basic truth, the content is equally valid for anyone, regardless of age, creed or belief structure.

When I first got the book in the mail, I was a little annoyed that it was such a small book and my problem with forgiveness was so BIG.For years, I have heard over and over that "forgiveness is something you do for yourself", "you can't move forward until you forgive", etc. etc. and really some things just seem unforgiveable. I have heard these things but nothing convinced me that I am the one who needs to take action...I have been waiting and waiting for the people who I feel "owe" me an apology -- suffering needlessly while I wait for someone to do what I think they "should" or thinking that I have written someone off but yet I still feel anger every time I see them.This book will definitely remove you from your "throne" of judgment and at least make you consider a new way of looking at forgiveness.Worth ordering - It's inexpensive, it's small and I have told several friends about it. You definitely need to read The Four Agreements and the The Fifth Agreement as well, so order all of them at once if you can.

Mr. Clerk provides nice review of his time with Don Miguel Ruiz and the Gift of Forgiveness . A good read about an excellent spiritual leader of our time. Don Miguel and family have numerous wonderful books of great spiritual value.
