Worked Perfectly
Every once in a while a product works exactly as it is supposed to; this is one of those cases. I have a long and very convoluted dryer vent in an old home. The extensions were adequately flexible to make all of the turns and clean the vent out completely. They also withstood a lot of torque from my Makita cordless drill; which was essential to move the brush head around corners and all the way to the outdoor exit which was about 15-18 feet. It removed a lot of lint and debris from many years of dryer use. I highly recommend the product.

Awesome Vent Cleaning Brush Kit
As a Handyman Co, This product makes quick (clean) work of customers dryer vents.Several dedicated "Dryer Vent Cleaning CO's" in town charge a minimum fee of $175.00 to simply run an air compressor hose from the outside of the home into the dryer vent and call it done,Homeowners paying them don't realize that all they are doing is blowing the lint/debris into the interior dryer connection hose AND into the dryer itself(that can cause trouble - especially in the newer HE dryers)This is the second kit purchased (needed another for one of my employees trucks)We disconnect the dryer inside the home, use this tool to scrub from the inside to the exterior(we don't use the provided drill end bit - we simply attach the drill to the rod end as we add them and it holds fine and we don't have to remove/reconnect the bit end each time)run a few quick air compressor burst from inside to the exterior to get out any loose residue from the brush kitand shop-vac the mess on both sides, then run the brush through the (removed) interior dryer connection line(by hand not drill - the connection flex lines can be damaged if using a drill)As well as using the small bendable brush in the lint trap collection intake in the dryer itself and vacuum it out afterwards and put the dryer back in place(we shop-vac inside the back of the dryers exhaust pipe itself as well as the connection line)The Whole system it spotless when were doneAll this takes an average of 15 to 30 minutes to complete, the charge is between $80 to $125 depending upon conditions(dryer size/type - access location - vent length etc.All our customers have been completely happy with the end resultswe take before and after pictures for them to see just how good this cleans out the venting & dryerwe have even come right behind the other (air blowing only Co's) and show pic's before and after and how much better this is then what they just paid the other guys forWe have gained quite a few new customers with this cleaning system

It did the job
I didn't want to pay for someone to clean my vents so after a quick google search I bought this. It did the job. I did struggle with using it with my drill. Either I had too many extension pieces on there or it is just flimsy when using a drill. I ended up doing it by hand and it worked.

Worked well!
Worked great! Glad I got the longer size!Only thing that would help improve it, would be to make the bristles a bright orange or something. When brush got to end of pipe, it was hard to see in the hood way up on roof. A bright color brush may have helped make that easier. But, as they are all just black bristles, can't really knock a star based on that.

Exceeded my expectations!
I thought this would probably work to an extent because I have a very long dryer duct (over 40') with several elbows. The brush on the flexible rods snaked it's easy through all of the bends from both ends. The amount of long that came out was unbelievable. After I ran it through a few times, I blew out the duct with my leaf blower. It's completely clean now, and I can keep it that way by doing this once a year from now on. Totally worth the cost.

Wow! Who'd Ever Think to Clean the Dryer Vent
I found the product to be worth the money and more effective than just trying to insert a vacuum hose up the vent pipe (which I had done one week earlier). I estimate ours hadn't been cleaned in about 28 years - and we've been in the house about 13 years - see pics).I dont know what happened for some of the one and two star reviewers. Make sure you only use your drill only in the clockwise direction. I also used my drill at a low speed (high speed is not necessary to be effective). This works much like a plumbing snake. I fed it through the vent pipe slowly (ours went to the roof), and I had my wife help by operating the drill to keep the rods as straight as possible as I fed them through the vent (otherwise, I could understand it coiling up for some people). If your vent pipe is on the roof, I suggest removing the foil vent pipe inside the house first and push out the lint from the roof side first, allowing gravity to move the lint downward. I did the house side first and ended with lint blockage further up the pipe. So I had to go to the roof, push it all down, and finish back in the house.I'm satisfied with the product. I bought the 32' package so I'd have extra rod shafts, in case they bent (as some reviewers noted). One of the rods did start to bend slightly near the connector, which is why I only gave it four stars.

Junk. Rod broke at connector on first use. Had to pay $125 to remove stuck 4" brush head
The flexible rod and connectors are not sturdy. On first use, mine broke off at only 9 ft. insertion at a 90 degree fitting using a low torque setting on my drill. The vent fitting was inaccessible in the wall of a condo, and I paid $125 to a vent cleaning company to remove the broken brush head. Junk.
