UPDATE:Okay, I give up. This just isn’t usable in any meaningful way. I consistently hit 220 with my (real) PW in the game and about 118 on the course. It goes on and on. Anyone want it for cheap??Okay - this will probably sound like a fake review but I promise you it’s not.I bought and returned the Rmotion thing twice hoping that it would be... this.The quality of this product is great - from the packaging to setup through to game play. It took just a few minutes to download WGT on my iPad and plug in my hdmi adapter to my projector and hit my first shot. Flawless and intuitive - anyone can do it and it just works.I have only two nits after a day of playing with it:1. The swing stick is useless imo. It stresses joints that aren’t and shouldn’t be in a proper golf swing. It was impossible for me not to pull every shot. Which I never do.But put the sensor on your favorite club and it’s shockingly accurate. I played the first 9 holes of Bethpage just with my pw - 125 yards at a time. I even tied to putt with it but without a lot of luck obv.I haven’t been able to do a lot of shaping, lofting, checking etc but I’ll keep working on it. I haven’t read anything yet so there might be some tricks.So the wgt graphics are fantastic. So much better and easier than downloading the resource and processing hog TGC.A couple annoying things: the screen will lock according to your iOS settings. Also, there are only two camera settings.. one is behind your avatar and the other is... something pretty random and not helpful.What else ... for a fun arcade golf game, this wins hands down. Rmotion is too inaccurate to be used as anything other than and arcade game which it’s not good at either. This is 60% accurate and 100% fun.Hope that helps. I’ll update as I learn more!

I bought the previous version of phigolf and loved it. I have been playing wgt golf on my phone on and off for a few years now but wanted something I could use a swing stick with to get a better golf experience. I can play with the simulator from the comfort of my own home. I did have an slight issue using mirroring to a large TV but was able to contact phigolf for support and it was just a simple setting on my iphone. Looks amazing! All in all great product, would recommend.

I am looking to return this thing because my excitement died quickly once I received it. I am not a fan of having to go to my phone every time I go on to the next hole to hit continue. I subscribed to get all of the other courses and only have Pebble Beach on there. The sensor is extremely touchy and I will be walking back in front of the TV from hitting 'continue' on my phone for the 10th time in 20 mins and it will hit the ball just from me trying to get back into place. Then, putting is impossible like most simulators. Chipping is also impossible, no matter how soft or hard I hit it, it goes flying. I think I would like it better if I didn't have to mess around with the "mirroring" and all that crap on my phone. Not for someone who is not tech savvy and be sure to have a lot of patience just to get the game going. I tried to play other people online yesterday and that didn't work either, it just kept "searching" for someone and never found anyone to play against. Then, looking into if I wanted to have people over to play, they all have to have their own log in for WGT golf to be able to try to get them to be able to play also. WAY too much work.

Overall, the Phigolf game simulator is OK. I really wanted to like it, but in the end there were some fatal flaws that made me rethink my purchase.PROS:-The graphics are excellent-Can project to a big screen using HDMI from a phone app (adapter cable NOT included)-Greens offer slope and different look angles for visualizing a putt, and these tools are great-Wind speed and direction, height +/- from current shot to green, are both nice features in WGT-Multiple options to play different courses if you pay additional fees, which are nominal, but monthly. I personally hate subscription plans like these, and avoid them whenever I can.-Phigolf swing analysis is probably it's best feature to help your swing path stay true-Box presentation is really nice. Comes with a manual, safety strap, charging cable and swing stick.-Can use your own clubs, but you need to pop the sensor on/off each time you change clubs.CONS:-Distances for shots seem too long for clubs vs. my true swing.-Club recommendations often wrong. Would be nice to be able to say "6 iron" and have the phone hear my selection as opposed to clicking on a menu 3-4 times to get the club changed.-Constant clicking of "continue" button to get to next hole in WGT is annoying, should have a user-adjustable pause time instead (e.g. 3 seconds, 5 seconds or 10 seconds to next hole, next shot, etc.) but maybe I missed this feature on their setup.-Putting distance is the worst feature of all, both on WGT and Phigolf app. Sensor seems to at times underestimate and at others overestimate the distance of the putt. I'm sure it is tough to measure this accurately, but under the current state of the system I consider it unusable. I know other systems have "putting" sensors that are different from Drivers/Woods/Irons so perhaps a putter sensor would fix this problem. It would also allow a user to use the swing stick for non-putting situations, and their own putter for putting situations.-About 1%-3% of the time, the system will register a shot while playing WGT that it shouldn't. I'm not swinging the club, but while preparing in my stance it will somehow register a swing.-I couldn't find a mulligan option, which would be handy for the above errors in the system registering shots it shouldn't.In the end, for the price I didn't find this tool to be worthy of retaining. If you want to use this to keep your swing path in check during the bad weather months many of us endure, then it may be worthwhile. And if you're looking for a toy to play at home with family and friends it will do the job. Thanks for reading!

You have to buy a $100 adapter and another USB on top of the $270 — so not worth $400 bucks in total

After searching Youtube and FB reviews, I decided to give Phiolf a shot.It was within my budget (slightly over $200), easy to set up and my family loved it so much we ended up playing all weekend LOL. I think I will buy a couple more sets as a Christmas gift for my parents & in-laws for their long Midwestern winter months. They'll love it!!You don't actually hit the ball but it tells you exactly what is wrong with your swing & putting and that's good enough for me. I'm 18 handicap. Love it so far.

Um die Kinder zu unterhalten ist es ganz witzig.Ansonsten eher enttäuschend.Der Sensor scheint ziemlich unpräzise. Ich habe erstmal nicht mit einem normalen Schläger probiert und den mitgelieferten Trainingsschläger intensiv getestet.Es ist so gut wie kein Ball gerade zu schlagen. Die Distanzen sind auch eher ein Witz. Üblicherweise schlage ich meinen Driver - je nach Bedingungen - zwischen 240 und 260m. Das ist hier vollkommen unmöglich.Bei den Eisen sind die Distanzen ebenso unterproportional.Ich hatte schon an mir gezweifelt und bin gleich mal auf die Range gefahren (mit iPad und Phigolf). Den Sensor habe ich dann in mein Eisen 7 gesteckt. Und siehe da: Ein schnurgerades Eisen 7 bei 155m wird auf dem Phigolf mit einer Abweichung von ca 30m nach Links und einer Länge von nicht mal 130m angezeigt.Ist ein nettes Spielzeug aber eben nicht mehr. Mit Golf hat es nichts zu tun. Dank der fehlenden Präszision auch schnell frustrierend.Für die Einordnung der Rezension - auf einem „echten Golfplatz“ spiele ich derzeit ein HCP von 5,7.

Ive played the mobile game wgt on my phone for a couple of years and when I saw this phigolf wgt advertised I thought it would be a great new way to play and its even better than I thought it would be. This takes wgt to a whole new level, I’ve not tried the phigolf app yet but look forward to giving it a go and playing on multiplayer with my son. I found it simple to use straight out of the box, surprising not being a techy guy myself. The youtube quick start guide was really helpful. I’ve been playing with it for a few weeks now and I love that I can play wgt by swinging a club. Now got an awesome golf game set up in my own living room and with the only hardware being the swing stick and sensor and the app on my phone I can actually take it anywhere. The graphics on wgt have always been impressive but I mirrored it to my tv from my iPhone and looks awesome!

I was really surprised by Phigolf WGT Edition, in the most pleasant way possible. I’m not a golfer, but do enjoy watching the Open Championship etc when it’s on and I do occasionally play on the WGT mobile game, I saw this device advertised on WGT app when I was playing and I’m so glad I did it makes WGT even better. Even if you don’t play golf you can still appreciate the amazing photorealistic graphics. If you are looking for a fun game to play with friends and family I highly recommend this game even if you don’t play golf you will have fun here!

This is a total rip off. The tracking of the club speed and direction is very poor. The putting and chipping is awful. You can only play one WGT golf course for free. The others require a monthly subscription. The graphics of Phigolf courses look terrible. After spending £200 I expected a lot more.

Was very disappointed with this product as had at least expected it to have been partially accurate and the device accuracy is extremely poor to say the least. For £50, I may have felt it was worth it for gaming. I thought this may offer a substitute for golf play during covid and help with practice, but accuracy is so off, it's pointless. The Apps are totally focused around game play. It records shots while you're trying to read the screen, keeps exiting from stats etc. If this device was more accurate and the Apps provided better focus around practice and analysis, then the product may be half descent, but short of this, save your money and buy something that at least represents the real game. Shame as I had high hopes for this after watching some reviews on it.
