Winging the simple looking installation did not work but partner wisely read the instructions to me before I completed the breaking of it.

These fixtures contain a high quality ceramic insulator so they could be used with lamps that generate a lot of heat. The lock that keys into the track is spring loaded versus the cheaper flexing plastic design you would find on cheaper fixtures. There is quite a large blind spot/angle toward which the light cannot be rotated. This angle is in one direction parallel to the track. This lack of 360 rotational range is however very common in lamps at this price level. This lamp provides no shade to contain glare / over spill from the bulb that you chose. This design is better for cooling and may extend the lifespan of your bulbs. But unless you have high ceilings, chose bulbs with good focus and little light overspill.

But ball joint not strong enough to hold a heavy [par38] bulb at 45°. Fixture just falls to 180° straight down under the weight.

Just installed these with the included instructions, was easy enough. Like the range of movement. Make sure you order the right type, since one reviewer claimed they don't fit. YOU need to get the right ones for your track type.

Ordered the wrong size, Had to return.

These have been really nice n my hop!! Everyone has loved the bright lights!!

I was happy with my purchase, great product, but it just lasted me 6 months, and now it stopped working :( I have double-checked my bulb and cable everything is good except these adapters. Switched back to my previous adapters.

Straight at the start 2 out of 3 didn’t work and the one that worked broke in pieces after changing a lightbulb ONCE!!!!
