I can only speak for my experience, but when I took the bag out of the plastic it did smell... like leather. That's it. It smells like leather. If it didn't smell like this I would probably not have been happy. This is the smell I would expect ordering a leather bag. Some people are too sensitive.The construction is impeccable, matches those of expensive "Italian handstiched" ones that cost anywhere between 3 to 12 times more. The interiors are probably better than those expensive kinds, I actually liked the feel of the canvas. I can easily slide a 14-15" laptop. More than enough space for the average office goer that takes a 11-15c laptop, a tablet, some power cords, a notebook, and anything else thin enough to fit in the zippered compartments. The shoulder strap is robustly designed and hinges perfectlyI'm super happy with the bag, the color, the interior, and the smell (which in case you didn't catch it, is a leather smell. Surprise, because it's leather!). Go for it!

For the price point, it is what it is. Goat leather is not the most supple of options, nor is it the most pleasing from a fragrance perspective. However, I would say the price point supports the bag for the most part. I have had to put leather conditioner on it multiple times since receiving it and that has made a big impact on the smell and pliability.There are two major flaws even for the price point. The magnetic closures do not line up correctly and are of the lowest possible quality. They have seemed ready to break off since the day I received the back. More importantly, the buckle is place in such a way the the 'tail' end of the strap goes up and over the shoulder instead of in a downward position AND the buckle lands squarely on the shoulder regardless of what notch it is in. That is the single biggest problem as it is extremely uncomfortable. Unbuckling the strap immediately shows what the problem is. Both straps are equal length thus placing the buckle in the middle. Bad design.Again, the price point is very affordable and imperfections are to be expected, but the slightest bit of effort into the design could have avoided a huge snafu.Knowing what I know now, I would have opted to increase my budget and purchased a different bag.

Bought this for my husband and he LOVES it. He gets compliments on it all the time.

Very nice, good quality leather and stitching is tough. The strap could use a leather band to hold it in place as the slack is a little long. Fits my 15"W x 11.5"D snug but still fits. Quite pleased with the quality all around.

I was reasonably happy with the bag. Being $60, I probably did expect a little more quality but it's okay. It holds my 2016 13-inch MacBook Pro easily and a little tight when it has a sleeve on. It has two zippers on either side with 3 compartments. The color of it is sort of accurate. A little faded than what is shown in the picture but it really depends on what screen you're looking at the bag through.I like how the bag looks and it fits comfortably. What I didn't like about the bag are two things. One, the magnets. Due to the type of magnet that is used, it doesn't clasp easily and sometimes requires you to adjust it a little before it clicks so that when you walk around with it, the flap doesn't bounce around. Two, the interior texture of the cloth is a little scratchy. When I reach in to take my laptop out, the cloth is rough enough to make your knuckles feel a little uncomfortable. But apart from those two things, it's a pretty good bag. Not the best but, good. Considering the price range of such bags, I guess it's safe to say this is okay and even though it cost me $60, I think I'll stick with it even though not whole heartily.The pictures below should give you an idea of what it looks like in person and I have kept an A4 sheet in one of the pictures to help you have an idea of what size to expect.

This product is absolutely awful. I did not expect much for the price, but this product managed to disappoint anyway!For starters, the chemical stench coming off the bag is horrendous. There’s extra thread hanging off most corners, there glue (!!!) spilled on each side of the bag and all over the magnetic closures (which do not work/align well), the strap was just rammed into bag and is creased/crumpled. There are pencil lines across the “leather”, not sure what those are about.Even for $45 the quality of this item is unacceptable.Also note that there is no shoulder pad on the strap, so if you actually used this bag you’d have the pleasure of a metal buckle pressed into your shoulder whilst carrying your laptop around, fun!

Update: Still smells awful after a week in baking soda. I do not think they will take it back now so my new leather briefcase will now be a tool bag for the car trunk if the stink ever comes out of it. I will leave it in the sun for a few days to see if I can kill the smell with UV raysExactly as pictured decent quality for the price.... BUT you can smell the leather tanning process on it through the plastic bag it is packed in and and through the box it was shipped in. I have it inside out covered in half a kilo of baking soda wrapped in 2 thick garbage bags in a dark closet to kill the smell off. Great looking bag shipping was on time but had I ordered it as a gift it would have been a disaster. A bit of work and time will hopefully get rid of the stink - I normally do not write such a long review but I want others to be aware. I know new leather can have a smell but this smells like a slaughterhouse covered in poop. If I can salvage it I will post an update. SERIOUSLY it is in 2 thick bags in baking soda in the back of a basement closet and I can smell it as I type this.Update: many months later the smell has almost gone but my wife will not let me carry it as she can still smell remnants of the original stink :(

When I received it I noticed the zippers where pretty much useless. I be used it for the lat 2 days. For work. What I intended to use it for. I really enjoy the product. But I find it annoying that the zippers don't work. That's why my review is not fully positive. I've researched the cost to replace the zippers. And it's not cost effective. I do like the product though . And have recommended to my friends. And my brother has ordered one.

This bag is pretty freakin sweet. It was a birthday gift to myself from my daughters lol. I'm not using it for a laptop/tablet bag rather a commuter bag. Lots of room for all my gadgets and books. Comfy to carry over the shoulder. A must get for the price!The only con and really isn't a con cause it's unavoidable is that it stinks. Like it's really smelly lol. It's the tanning chemicals. I've had it now since the beginning of May 2017 and the chemicals smell is pretty much gone and now it smells of rich leather :)
