Creates a great first impression.The knife and slice are made from stainless steel and look really good in silver.The patterns are attractive and add to the overall impression of a vintage set from bygone days where craftsmanship was valued.Considering these are mass produced in a Chinese factory that probably knocks out smart watchs for under a tenner, this is quite an accomplishment!These would make an ideal engagement - or any other special occasion - gift.Have already been used with my wife's birthday cake. This set feels like nice quality and has a classic design.Both items have a nice weight to them and would make a lovely gift for newly weds.Unfortunately the box lets this down. The red colour inside is ok and the gift card is a nice addition but the box itself is made from cheap card (already ripped in a corner) and I just feel the materials used inside could be better. The price seems ok, but if I bought this as a gift I wouldn't be impressed that the box damaged so easily, hence why I've dropped a star.
