I've always had "chub rub" on my thighs even when I was quite skinny. Now that I'm older and am a bit overweight, it's been very problematic. I'm going to be moving to Florida soon, and we've been visiting the area a lot recently. My chub rub has been so bad that I've given myself red rashes and even raised, angry blisters on my thighs. I've tried drying dusting powders, deodorant, oils, sunblock, you name it. Everything wore off within minutes and left me in extreme pain with every step.I ordered these before our last trip based on desperation and the wonderful reviews so far. I am 5'8", currently about 230 pounds, with a lot of thigh. I measured myself right on the border of size D and E (just shy of 29 inches). Based on the reviews that seemed to indicate going down was better than going up, I ordered the size D. I got the smooth plain design, not the lace.Wow, am I impressed! They fit perfectly (glad I went down). The fabric is smooth and comfortable. I really appreciated the reviews that said to try angling them so that the inner thigh side is higher than the outer thigh - that prevented them from rolling completely. Once they found the "sweet spot," they didn't budge once. They completely stopped any thigh rub and kept my skin safe and protected! If these things can stand up to a full day of walking around in 95 degree Florida heat and humidity, then they can stand up to anything!The only thing I noted is that my skin (which is a bit sensitive) got slightly irritated along the areas of the silicone stickies when I wore them 2+ days in a row. When I skipped a day and wore pants in between days, that completely resolved and they were comfy again all day.Highly recommend! I'll be buying more!

I wish I'd known about these years ago. The material is thin, soft, stays up even through sweating, & doesn't stick to your clothing. There's a seam on each one, so I wear that to the inside to prevent the line showing through jersey knit skirts. I will buy more.

I bought both the unisex, smooth thigh bands as well as the lacy women's ones, with the intention of wearing them under dresses and skirts to reduce chafing.I definitely prefer the smooth thigh bands after several days of wearing both. The smooth thigh bands are slightly wider than the lacy ones and seem to stay in place a bit better, while the lacy ones also tend to start wearing themselves down against each other because of their texture.I also had an unfortunate incident while wearing the lacy ones, wherein I was hurrying to catch the train and the upper edge of the band folded down - I ended up getting severe raised chafe marks where the edges of the band had rubbed against my legs as I walked that took several days to heal.PROS:- Definitely reduce chafing, when they're not causing it themselves.- The smooth bands are barely notable when worn in the correct place and are super comfortable, as a result.- Not having to wear a pair of shorts with an additional waistband under my dress/skirt is AMAZING.CONS:- Figuring out where and how to place the thigh bands is more difficult than you'd think, as the swell of your butt causes the back upper edge of the band to fold over frequently, and your thighs are usually wider at top than at bottom, whereas the bands are symmetrical and the same width from top to bottom.- Though the fit is perfect to start, the elastic does start to stretch out slightly after some constant wearing. My smooth thigh bands have now started to slip down on one leg regularly. On the plus side I can wear a single smooth thigh band with nearly the same anti-chafing and comfort advantages, so I often do that.- The silicone bands on my smooth bands have started to detach from the fabric, thanks probably both to daily wearing, the motion of walking, and humidity/heat from my body. I'm hoping the bands remain wearable even if some of the silicone is lost...I do recommend the smooth bands as a nice, comfortable under skirt/dress option, but don't have a great deal of faith that they will last for very long. I might try buying down a size and seeing if they'll fit better as they stretch out.

Stayed in place and works as intended. Soft fabric and stretchy for us bigger gals. Hubbie was sure I had garter hose on and checked my leg several times to make sure. 🤣

They do work and I prefer these solid ones. However they do feel really weird at first as the little rubberized(?) Bits that keep it in place kind of pull on the hair on my thighs slightly. It's not painful at all and I do get used to it after 5-10min but it's not something I can ignore at first. They are good quality and do fit under other shorts if you are wanting to male yours longer.

I was worried that these would roll down, or be bulky and uncomfortable. I was glad to be proven wrong. I have them THICC thighs and these bands did not move, did not roll and were comfortable. They kept my thighs from chaffing AND looked sexy. I would definitely buy more of these. Just make sure you measure to get the best fit.

I managed to guess my size correctly, and the fit was perfect. They were a bit tricky to put on, but I found it easiest to slide the band up with the silicon strips facing outwards, then flip the band over when it’s in the right spot. To remove them, do the same but backwards.After two days of wear I can confidently say they stay in place very well (hence the need to reverse them before removing them), however, there are a few pain points. The biggest issue is the top edge of the bands. I need to wear the bands quite high, I endup with chafing where the band sits under my butt because the tiny bit of fabric above the silicon band bunches up.The other issue is the cost, which I get because this is a name brand and everything, but honestly it’s two pieces of fabric. I don’t think there’s anything revolutionary that justifies the price point.But other than that, I am really happy with the bands and would likely purchase more if the need arose.

Bought these to wear under my wedding dress and they were FANTASTIC! They stayed in place all day long through sweat and heat and kept my thighs comfy and chafe free! I’ll definitely be wearing these under all my dresses from now on. Highly recommend!
