Just what I needed
I bought this adapter as it was the exact fit for my power input on my overhead look soldering station. Previously, I had used batteries and boy did it eat the batteries! When I got the ac adapter I plug it in and oh wow! Not only did it work but the light was about twice as bright compared to batteries. Very satisfied. I use the adapter on a busy work bench and it has held its own, no fraying or cheapness that I can tell. Just what I needed. Thanks DIKOO

Test Before Using
I measured the voltage with a multimeter before plugging it into my device and it read a little over 6.4V. Not ideal if you’re using it on sensitive electronics. Fortunately, I only bought it for an analog circuit, and the 6V is mostly needed to power a small motor. I can add a resistor if it’s still too high under load, but I really shouldn’t have to do that.

motion-controlled garbage can in my kitchen
Used this to hardwire a battery-powered, motion-controlled garbage can in my kitchen. It was getting frustrating having to replace AA batteries every couple of months when an AC adapter could have been included, so I just made one myself. This thing works perfectly for the job. My only small complaint is that it is a rather wide adapter and would block my lightswitch where I plug it in if I didn't flip the adapter away from the switch. It looks a little goofy that way, but it is worth the saved sanity of not replacing batteries when they peter out.

If it fits, it's way better than universal replacements.
Works great! I used it to replace a 15 year old adapter on Christmas decorations. The measurements on the guide worked great to allow me to pick the right adapter. IMO these are much better than the universal as you can't accidentally change the voltage and smoke the device. Also they are less clunky.

For my Akai MPK225 it works great.
This fits my Akai Professional MPK225 like a glove. I already purchased a power cord from a national chain music store for $20, and I was like “that’s too high!”. I ordered this one and sweet it works great. I’m taking the over priced one back.

This works with my sleep clock!
There were questions but no clear concensus on whether it worked with the "My Sleep Clock" product. Well just FYI IT DOES! It fits fine and works perfectly. There, buy it and save some money. You're welcome!
