Error in Earbuds
I used this for only one month. After that, I began hearing some noise from one of the earbuds, and it started working intermittently.

As I browsed various multiple earphones in this range on a not-so-busy workday break, I came across this very feature-packed product. It seemed interesting - and had something called DIRAC Opteo in it + ANC. So I thought I'd give it a shot. First-day impressions - it's blown me away! Exhaustive list of impressions: 1. DIRAC OPTEO: Balanced sound with punchy bass! Yeah, and not booming bass. It's so great and I'm quite surprised it sounds like something you'd expect at a higher price point. 1.1 Soundstage: As soon as the headphone is switched on, it starts in 'battery saving mode'. Once you turn on DIRAC Opteo mode, you can literally feel the space opening up. All the instruments feel individual and sound separated. Fireflies (by Owl City) sounds lovely and all the strings sway in the centre while the various zaps and buzzes surround you. It's really great for the price! 1.2 Treble and Mids: Clean and clear. The bass doesn't overpower them and feels just right. The vocals come out clearly and all the instruments don't interfere with it (Drive home by Steven Wilson sounds great!). 1.3 Bass: Punchy and tight. I love how it fizzles in 'Bonfire' (by Knife Party) and how it reverberates in 'Turn Down for what' (by DJ Snake). 'Breakin' a Sweat'(by Skrillex, Zedd) sounded tight and I discovered how well produced it is! Lovers of tight bass, this is your product! 2. Volume: It gets really loud. So loud that I can't listen to it at the highest setting. But if that's your thing, then you should know that the highs get pretty shrill at the setting, but the bass is still pretty clean and loud! 3. ANC: ANC is present, but won't drown everything out. It's a great add on but if you're looking for a headphone to make all sounds around you zero, then this won't do that. If you need to drown out some noise while you listen to your tunes, this will do the trick! 3.1 Ambient Sound mode: The opposite of ANC, it pulls in the outside noise to let you have a conversation. Again, you can't blast tunes at high volume and still have a convo, but you can listen with lower volume (near 25% volume) and hear things around you. If the ambient sound also increased as I increased volume, it would have been amazing. 4. Calling: Did a couple of calls. With no-noise, the other person said I sounded great! I took a couple of calls in a local grocery store (was pretty loud) and the other end had no issue hearing me. 5. Buttons: The button placement is easy and I didn't feel any issue getting used to the controls. The simple manual explains everything in 2 mins, so read once and you're good to go. 5.1 To note: The sound is best in DIRAC Opteo mode. Every time you turn it on, you have to double press the multi function button to turn it on. I'd have loved having it on by default. Also every time I turn it on, it plays a 3-4 second tune, which could have been shorter. (Imagine hearing it every time you turn the thing on. Ugh.) 6. Connectivity: Once I connected it to my phone the first time, it connects to my phone within 1-2 seconds of turning the earphones on. 7. Battery: It seems to last long! I've been using them for about 4.5 hrs and it's gone down about 20%. Cannot say anything more yet though. 7.1 When you take both the earphones out of your ears, it doesn't auto pause like some of the competitors. Annoyed that this was missed, would have saved so much more battery if they did this. 8. Build quality: I have a black version. It's made with good quality plastic and didn't feel heavy around my neck. It doesn't have metal anywhere, and it's quite simple. I think it looks decent. 9. Exercise: Need to test! Will update later. In summary, an easy recommendation. If you can overlook the small issues, there's a great sounding, feature-packed and long lasting device here at a great price! 10/10 would definetely recommend!

Starting with the packaging, it comes in an cardboard wrapper which has branding and feature highlights with the actual container sliding inside. The box itself is made of solid cardboard with flip-open lid with magnetic catch and styrofoam packaging for the headphone which feels premium. The build quality of the headphone is quite nice. The sound quality is decent. By default, Derac Opteo is switch off, which is good as it saves power. There is significant difference in audio quality when you switch it on as speech is significantly enhanced and the audio has much livelier feeling as compared to the default sound mode. But, it suppresses bass notes to some extent. I tried with ‘Stairway to Heaven’ and found background bass notes suppressed as compared to default mode while the other notes and vocals were well enhanced. But it doesn’t mean that bass is bad in Dirac Opteo mode. The bass is decent and other ranges and vocals just come alive a bit more. Overall, bass and midrange are well balanced. Treble is not so good. ANC is there and works to certain extent but doesn’t really help much in noisy environment. Call quality is good at both ends. It has type C port for charging, which is a plus point. One may find controls a bit difficult to get started with, especially the multifunctional button (MFB). It could have been a bit bigger and more pronounced so that one could easily find it around the neck. Right now, one has to search for that small dot. I haven’t tested complete battery life. I would update the review about fast charge and battery life later. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase, especially at this price point and would give it a big thumbs up.

I recently purchased the boAt Rockerz 330ANC Bluetooth Neckband In-Ear Earphones, and while they do have some impressive features, there are a few drawbacks that I would like to highlight. Here's my honest review of the product: Low Bluetooth Range: One of the major downsides of the boAt Rockerz 330ANC is its relatively low Bluetooth range. While it claims to have a stable connection within a certain range, I found that the signal strength significantly weakened when I moved away from my connected device. This can be quite inconvenient, especially if you enjoy the freedom of movement while listening to music or taking calls. Automatic Playback: Another drawback I noticed is the earphones' tendency to automatically play when going out of range and coming back within range again. This feature can be frustrating, as it interrupts the flow of your audio playback and forces you to manually pause or skip the track. It would have been better if the earphones had a more reliable and consistent behavior when it comes to auto-playback. Battery Backup: The battery backup of the boAt Rockerz 330ANC is not up to par with other similar products on the market. While it claims to offer a decent playtime, I found that the battery drained relatively quickly, especially when using active noise cancellation (ANC) or at higher volume levels. This can be a hassle, as it requires frequent charging and limits the earphones' usage time. The sound quality of these earphones is generally good, with decent bass and clarity across various music genres. The earphones also feature an in-line microphone that allows for clear voice calls, making them suitable for hands-free communication. In conclusion, while the boAt Rockerz 330ANC Bluetooth Neckband In-Ear Earphones have some positive attributes, such as ANC and comfortable fit, they do suffer from drawbacks including low Bluetooth range, unpredictable automatic playback, and insufficient battery backup. If these drawbacks are significant concerns for you, it might be worth exploring other options available in the market before making a purchase.

At this price range providing the ANC, Ambience mode and Crystal Bionic Sound is a dream come true. You get 1 yr warranty card, a C-Type charger, User guide, Boat promo booklet and extra silicone buds. Now here's how the earphone performs - Pros: + Let's address the elephant in the room first - The colab with Dirac for the Crystal Bionic Sound. It is easily distinguishable from the normal sound when you turn on the Bionic mode. However, being used to Nahimic, I would say it is not a great improvement to the original. By no means am I comparing apple to apple here and I know that, just wanted to let you know not to keep very high hopes. But yes, the sound quality improves. It feels more like moving from 1080p to HD. But we all know what FullHD is right? + C-Type charger. Thanks Boat! + Its gonna be a heaven for bass lovers. + The volume is on the higher end. Listening to Full Metal on the highest volume will make you bleed. + The ANC does a really good job. I tried out with fan at full speed and it was able to remove almost 95% of the noise. I will test in traffic and other environment and update soon. + The Ambience mode (the new buzz in market), which enhances the sorrounding noise to keep you aware... mostly while you are driving or doing something important (and I would recommend not use an earphone while doing such stuffs), is a decent work. I would say its a work in progress and may be the next model will up the ante. + Very light weight and you won't even notice it's on your neck. Cons: - The packaging: While everyone is moving to smaller packaging, for some reason Boat chooses to make the packaging obnoxiously big. - The ear buds are somewhat conical. And to stick the earphone firmly you need to push some part of the earphone as well which is a little painful to the ear at first. I hope I get used to it. - Sometimes the bass could be more than you expect. Move to a little lower sound. I found it helpful when you want to listen to some shoothing music. Overall its a great buy. I will update after testing in different environment and about the call quality in phone and online meetings soon enough! Also guys, do register for the 1 yr warranty. Cheers!

I am writing this review after 1 month of experiencing the amazing sound of boAt rockerz 330ANC. Pros- 1.Sound quality- It has great sound quality and good bass. It does not add bass when unnecessary. 2.Dirac Opteo™ sound- I can feel the sound becoming much more wider when Crystal Bionic sound is turned on. I feel like I can point out the instruments like where they are playing. It feels like the instruments are seperated. The tune when it turns on doesn't affect the listening experience that much. It just stops the music for like two seconds and continues. 3.Noise cancellation- It has decent noise cancellation upto 25 db. It feels like my ears are in a vaccum chamber. 4. Battery life- It has great battery life and stays in standby for more than 5 days! It is specified that it stays till 60 hours of continuous listening. I haven't tested that yet. It charges very quickly and it is USB-C. 5.Magnetic earbuds- It has magnetic earbuds that come in very handy when I am not using them. I can just hang it with no tension of them falling onto a surface. Cons- 1.Connecting with my laptop- It has a problem connecting with my laptop. When I listen to anything the sound is distorted and I cannot hear any tune even when I turn on ANC or Ambient noise. If I turn on Dirac Opteo™ sound it gets more distorted. 2.Noise cancellation could be better-The noise cancellation is not that effective and I can still hear some noise from outside. It only blocks some of the sounds. Conclusion- boAt rockerz 330ANC is the best neckband I have experienced so far. It has great sound quality. It It charges very quickly and stays for alot of time. It does have a problem with my laptop but it is ok. It has an immersive sound experience with Dirac Opteo™ Crystal Bionic sound. It is worth the money. Absolutely love it. Thank you boAt and Dirac Opteo™ for making this neckband.
