Smaller than it appears, but good for species that don't move around much or need a lot of room.
This tank was shipped flat-pack style and was very easy to assemble. Basically, you peel the protective film off the acrylic panels, fit tabs into slots, and reinforce with elastic bands. I had some misgivings when it was a little rickety during assembly, but the bands seem to tighten things up nicely. I do recommend putting the bands on as you're assembling, as opposed to waiting until the end.The only thing that really annoyed me with the assembly was the addition of the door-tabs that turn to keep it latched. I thought that the little plastic washers were threaded, but they're not, and in my case they did not fit the screws tightly at all. I ultimately decided to go without them and just slide the latches carefully. The tank is much smaller and shorter than a ten-gallon standard tank, but I could see it working for tarantulas and hermit crabs. The sides are vented, so if your animal is small enough or nimble enough to get through air slots, I wouldn't recommend this one. Other reviews mentioned ways of making this tank watertight; I could see adding water but the depth would be an issue because of the ventilation. As others have said, due to the tank being acrylic, there is not a good way to add a heat lamp to this scenario. This is a very visually-pleasing enclosure. The clear panels ensure that it will pretty much blend in with its surroundings. I am using it as a short-term holding tank for a very geriatric leopard gecko (28y), so that I can keep her with me and keep an eye on her when she is not in her normal enclosure. Because she doesn't move around much, this small tank is ideal. There is room for a little trailing plant, a decently-sized hide log, a feeding dish, and a potty corner. I have lined it with roll-out substrate; decided not to bother with sand. There have been no cricket escapes from this tank when I've fed her in it. I would NOT recommend the tank for younger leopard geckoes or animals that are very active...they'll need more room than she does. But she does seem to enjoy sitting on top of the hide log and looking out.Mineral/hard water will spot the acrylic, so you might end up wiping the tank down often after you spray. It comes off easily enough with a wet paper towel.

Horrible lid on top
The cage itself is awesome. Sturdy, easy to clean. I'd be careful what u put in this thought because the lid is very unstable and falls into the cage easily. I wish there was a better lid for this than it would be perfect.UPDATE 4/26/2023The bands that hold it together are now breaking and I csnt find replacement bands for it anywhere. That didn't last long ugh.

Easy assembly. Don’t recommend for critters
This enclosure was nice and easy to assemble. Does NOT hold up well.. it hardcore warped after a few weeks and there’s gaps around the edges of the top where critters could easily escape. A couple of my tarantulas with medically significant venom have escaped from those gaps in this enclosure.. which is no bueno. They could have killed my other pets or vice versa. Also if you plan on watering anything in here- don’t. The water leaks through the edges and spills everywhere. Good idea but not a good design 👎🏻

It came with broken piece. But still love the tank
Came in with a piece broke but still got it to work. Love the tank just think the should be made a little sturdier if it shipped and got a piece chipped off. Other then that I love the tank

Not very secure on the top! Not suitable for species that climb/explore
This was super easy to put together and the bottom and sides of the enclosure we’re super secure. However the lid of the enclosure which is 2 pieces bows in a bit so there is a gap, though all the pieces initially came in straight. I really wanted to put my tarantula in here but she is very explorative (including walking on the top of the lid) so I am not comfortable putting her in there. I would not advise a snake in here either. However this would be great for some other invertebrates/arachnida like scorpions so I will hold onto it and put it to other use in the future.

Good enclosure, kinda useless temp/humidity gauge.
I’ve purchased several different sizes of these acrylic enclosures to keep isopod colonies, I’d recommend sealing the bottom half with caulk as these are in no way waterproof. But they are well vented, very clear, easy to assemble and fairly well made overall.
