LockJawz T-Post Fence Insulator Orange

Initially purchased these to use on the backside of existing t-posts. Unfortunately, it seems only a handful of the many hundred t-posts on my property are "standard" size so these did not fit as intended. I did use them on a small section of fence on the front of the t-posts and they installed easily. Come Springtime the last two years, I have had to reattach half of these insulators as they completely fell off the posts. I did not have this issue with standard insulators on the same fence.The one place I do like these over standard insulators is on inside corner posts, as they allow the wire to wrap around the post without contact. The pressure from the wire pushing in also helps keep the insulators on the post in this case. I will keep the few of these I still have for use on inside corner posts only.

I have built a small electric fence to keep deer out of my orchard. Seems to be working fine thus far. We found a deer inside the fence yesterday so I'll be out there today, stringing another wire around it but it will be easy with these things. I tie off the wire and walk around the fence with the spool. Once I reach the end, I go back with these insulators and clip them on. It's pretty easy to put them on the wire and then snap the insulator onto the T-post.

If they don't fit your t-post one way, they'll snap on the other way just fine. If you have t-posts pointing in different directions, no problem! These are your easy solution. WAY better than the other hotwire insulators. The orange color is also great because it stands out and practically screams *caution*! Simple. Effective. Easy. Highly recommend!

They slide up and down on the t posts very easily. Our horse broke out in the first week.

These are a life saver ! I have about a hundred t posts that were put in the wrong direction prior to moving to my ranch and with these I was able to run my electric fence without redoing the entire fence line.

I thought this would be an easy solution to my fencing project however these things are NOT made to hold much weight and there is no way they will stand up over time. So, they go in my shop drawer of fails lol.

Easy install! I sat on using these for a year. I finally used them for my electric fence setup and these are great. They grab easy, have multiple position offerings, and easy to remove/adjust. I highly recommend them for those that want to keep squirrels and chipmunks out of your raises garden beds.

Only work on straight sections of fence. And angle or tension they slide up the post. Great idea and fast. but as I said only on straight terrain!
