works great just make sure it fits (2cm I.D.)
I have been upgrading some of my kitchen Items and wanted new stoppers for oil, I saw these were highly recommended from a website and so I ordered them. I didn't think of how the fit would be so I assumed they would fit most bottles, but when I got them they were too big for the bottle I was going to use luckily I had a couple of bottles that fit just great. Make sure you have a bottle with a 2 centimeters (inner diameter) opening. I like these because they have good quality and they allow you to pour slow or fast depending on your needs.

Finally, a smoothly working, no-plastic liquid pourer
It's becoming very difficult to find cooking and other kitchen utensils without any plastic components. We were very excited to find a set of pourers without any plastic in them. These cork inserts fit our vinegar and oil bottles very securely, and decant liquid smoothly. The only complaint I have is the top protective lid has to be opened manually when pouring, or liquid builds up inside the pourer spout and dribbles onto whatever you're serving, making a mess. But that's a small price to pay for a plastic-free food utensil that also prevents small bugs from accessing the contents of the bottle--a problem with sugar enriched liquids like balsamic vinegar.

Work Great
I used this to replace the plastic inserts for the wife's olive oil bottle. After just a short time the plastc would get hard and brittle and start leaking heavily. I've had these for about 5 months now and they are still holding up great. They flow great at a precise angle, otherwise it will simply dribble through, the cork has held up great and still seals well, I think we've adjusted the seal by pressing it in just a little furth only a couple times. We have already saved money buying these compared to repurchasing crappy plastic/rubber plugs.

Lid broke after 2 days!
Really wanted to love these because I couldn't find any other (cheap) ones that came with "lids" to the pourer. BUT the lid broke off of this after a couple of days use! So the whole reason we bought them was for nothing. It works great anyway, and we haven't noticed any particles/dust/bugs getting into the olive oil, so I guess the lid wasn't necessary to start with. Fits into a wine bottle perfectly. Was glad it came with two!

I have a set of these and bought another for a gift.
After tossing so many stoppers away as total junk! I came searching for something that actually worked: (as in for more than one month) and not being willing to toss all my bottles---though they work great as bud vases... To my amazement here and now I have the epitome of stoppers... ta-da !!! they WORK !!!! I am happy happy happy. So happy that I bought another set to give to our daughter as a gift. It is true, as in other reviews, they do not fit all bottles, but if you have ones with smallish openings, believe me, I have so many bottles, I had no trouble locating the ones they fit. Besides, why complain if they don't fit all bottles? They are not advertised as adjustable...They stick up a bit, but the fit is tight... no more oil all over my hand, counter etc. Happy.

Liquid doesn't come out, don't buy.
First, as many said, the size of the cork is too big for olive oil bottles. I bought them specifically for this purpose but I should have realized they wouldn't fit before I bought them because the dimensions were listed. I would have just used the same ones I use on liquor bottles since they are only $1.50 and work perfectly, but they don't fit the bottles I have for olive oil. Second, and worst of all, they were assembled incorrectly and don't work at all...no liquid comes out. I suspect this is because the rod for air was set in too deep and gets blocked by the liquid as it begins to flow. They're unusable and a waste of money. I actually don't blame the manufacturer because this is a bad design even though it is very common. I have others that use this design and they have the same problem. My suggestion, and I wish I realized this earlier, is only buy the type that have the air shaft on the outside so it is not blocked by the liquid coming out.

Lid flips great
These are perfect stoppers. I put one in my avocado oil bottle and one in my olive oil. They make the pouring of oil graceful, smooth, and no over-pouring or mess! The lid flops back down after pouring to keep dust out. I run my finger up the spout after pouring to wipe any residue. I love how simple this has made cooking with oil.

Works great for my olive oil dispenser.
I purchases a cute ceramic olive oil dispenser from BB&B but after a few months the cork pourer deteriorated and became unusable. Due to the shape of the bottle none of the rubber replacement stoppers would stay in and leaked whenever I poured. These HIC pourers however fit perfectly, no leaks, and they self close. They do pour a bit slow, since it is oil not liquor, but that is probably a good thing I can get a bit carried away when cooking :)

A good product
They do what they're supposed to do - have a tight seal on the bottle, and pour liquid really well
