An exceptionally high quality rod at a very modest price
I own eight Fitzgerald bait casting and spinning rods.. needless to say, I think they are exceptional. They are on par with the very best St. Croix and G Loomis rods at half the cost. They cast like rocket launchers, are top of the line quality and well balanced. They just feel good in the hand with plenty of backbone when a big fish is on. A freshwater rinse after saltwater fishing and its ready for the next time. Do yourself a favor and buy one. It will become your favorite rod.

Ready to fish, with a broken rod.
Took out for it's maiden fishing trip. Caught a black bass that was about 1 pound. As I was working it into the boat the rod broke just behind the 3rd eye. Ridiculous, called customer service and they said that it could have been been something I did. Warranty is weak. Have rod to this day and would like to get a response or refund.

Sensitive, light, and strong!
