There were not fully clear instructions on how much to put on the parts that fit into the mouth. I ran out of product before a few days into it. So, returned.

Expensive item when it only worked for 1 treatment

This whitening kit is powerful AF! I've only gotten through 1/3 of the syringes of gel and already I'm seeing results. The light is also way brighter than Crest's whitening kit.I’m a tea drinker , so I do have staining on my teeth. My dentist said tea stains are actually more intense and tougher than cigarette stains to remove!I have crowded and some crooked teeth... instead of lining the tray with the gel, I found it easier to actually use the syringe to paint the gel directly on my teeth. (then, I put the tray on)This ensures I get every nook and cranny. With the gel in the tray, I wasn’t sure all the crowded teeth were getting bleached.Another tip: if you have even a slight overbite , make sure your teeth are separated and the uppers aren’t covering your lowers while the light is on.I find the best way to do this is seal your tongue to the roof of your mouth - it helps keep your teeth apart. You want to make sure the light is shining on all teeth for the entire 10 minutes.More tips! :Keep the gel in the fridge, it will preserve its strength for longer. This is exactly how dentists store their professional whitening treatmentsI will update this review with more progress photos as I use the other 2 syringes! So far, so good! This helps my smile look healthier and gives me more confidence!

I used this product for 2 weeks ... 14 straight days. I have used professional tooth whitening systems in the past, which were purchased from my dentist, which cost $200 to make the teeth mold and $20 per syringe of whitening gel, which lasted a week. For under $30, you get the whole kit here. But does it work?I noticed a few reviews which said noticeable results were noticed after one treatment ... out of 21 included with this kit. Sorry, but that is impossible. Not even the dentist's kits work that fast. After 7 straight days of using this, I saw no results. By the 14th day, I think I notice a little difference, but my girlfriend says she doesn't see it. I have 7 days/treatments left to go.The biggest difference between the kit your dentist gives you and this would be that in the professional kits, they make a tray molded to your teeth and you put one dot of gel in each tooth. These are a solid rubber plate that have no indentations. My teeth don't feel like they are getting a lot of the gel on them. Having a big, rubber plate in my mouth produces saliva, which mixes in with the gel.Another thing I noticed is that after 7 days/treatments with the pro kits, my teeth are very sore and sensitive. The bleach must be MUCH stronger in those kits because even after 14 straight days, my teeth feel exactly the same with no sensitivity. This is good because I can drink cold beverages ... but not good because the professional results were so much more noticeable after a week than 14 days of this kit. For the low price, that's what I expected.The UV light is interesting. It makes your mouth glow purple ... not sure what this is designed to do ... but the kit is designed well in that the light and battery stay outside your mouth, while the mouthpiece and gel stay inside. 10 minutes goes by quickly and the light turns off on its own after 10 minutes. There is supposed to be a small buzzer sound but I can't ever hear it. The taste isn't pleasant but not as bad as the professional bleach.Overall, for $30, it's hard to complain but I really don't see much of a difference in color after 14 straight treatments. We will see if the final 7 make a difference but I'd say doubtful. The biggest hassle is wasting 10 minutes per day + 2 minutes cleanup and loading. That adds up and time is money. While I wouldn't order these again because the results are so mild, it's very easy to use and everything comes in one kit. Maybe because I am a red wine drinker, citrus eater and weekend cigar smoker, my teeth are harder to whiten but I don't see the results everyone else does. Judge for yourself based on my 14-Day 'Before and After' pictures. They look pretty similar to me vs. all the time I spent doing this. I hope this review and my pictures help your shopping.
