Beautiful & quiet
Easy to install - if you follow the directions. Very happy with performance & appearance. Ended up buying a second one for another room.

The design of the Light Wave is beautiful in the simplicity.
We are using this unit in a bedroom that tends to be warmer than the surrounding area.We do have a issue that at the highest setting the fan tends to make a scraping sound.

Remote doesn't have a change direction button
While I love the style and quietness of this fan, it's really a pain to reverse rotation directions. I have this in a cathedral ceiling which requires a 10' ladder to climb, then carefully raise the cowling, switch direction, lower the cowling and climb back down. NOT ONE of Minka Aire's "Light Wave" fans have a remote which would allow you to reverse directions! It's stupid!
