I found the reviews to be accurate. The assembly was simple. I did not have a second person, so it took about 20 minutes longer than it should have; it took me 45 minutes. I was happy to see that the height accommodated my storage bins with plenty of space remaining for more items. I did not use the box spring because the bed was too high to climb on with it. The mattress on the frame alone works great. It doesn't slide. I'm 245 lbs and it is holding up just fine. It's about 3 to 4 inches longer than my mattress, I have to be careful not to stub my toes, but it is not an inconvenience. Overall, good product. 5 stars. Would buy again.

This bed will handle the very end of the earth and all for an amazing prize.I'm a man of very simple needs and this frame met every single one elegantly.It gives a small bit of storage space underneath, unlike many frames. Albiet it is a metal frame it did not make much noise, especially when it could've...The assembly was extremely easy. I've had the frame for quite some time now and it has given me no trouble.I am a heavier gentleman and it hasn't collapsed yet. 10/10.

Assembly was designed with care: the bag of parts was separated into compartments, one for each type. There was one extra of each of the lose-able parts (nuts and bolts). I was delighted by this care.Instructions were clear and every piece marked, of course. I'm still amazed at the precision with which the pieces are made because after I bolted the main frame together, the cross pieces all slid snugly into place with precision with no need to adjust the frame into better alignment.

I knew this was a platform bed frame from the start but the price was better than getting a twin bed frame. I thought it could take a new box spring and mattress I already had and be okay even though it would be higher than I wanted.It went together fairly well and we put the box spring and then the mattress on . It was way too high but my son thought it was fun so we left it. It lasted a day that way. Since, there is no lip on the outer edges of the frame, the box spring moved to one side while the mattress moved to the other, making a potentially dangerous situation when getting off the mattress. You pretty much had to just slide off the mattress and hope you landed alright.So the next day, off came the box spring and replaced with just the mattress. It is a good height now and doesn't move. I am just not happy that I have an expensive mattress set that cannot be used correctly now and secondly, I have a mattress that I feel is not being supported fully, so it will wear quickly and unevenly. We will see over time. The quality of the metal is very good, very sturdy.Meanwhile, I will still look for an inexpensive twin bed frame when I can. Recommended if you want it solely as a platform bed.Update: I have increased the rating on this by one star simply because of the customer service. Although it still is not the best solution for me, a workable solution was offered that was more than generous. The customer service Agent Lucy was extremely helpful and patient with a computer of mine that is down more than working so it has taken weeks. If you are on the fence about this bed frame, I would urge you to try it based upon my interaction with customer service.

I have a memory foam mattress that's only about 9 inch thickness (maybe 10 but I don't recall) and needed a frame (sick of having my mattress on the floor). Bought this in a prime day deal. Set it up this evening. Here are my thoughts...It was relatively to our together by myself. The instructions were in picturebook style with some refe6tinthe needed materials. The nuts and bolts and bars were all labelled, which helped. Once assembled (took maybe 20 minutes on my own), it was surprisingly Sturdy. I weigh 195lbs. This thing didn't even budge when I flopped on it once the mattress was put down. Took about an hour nap and it was just fine I was worried that with the memory foam mattress and the spacing of the support bars would be felt through the mattress but no. Thought I might have to get one of those bed boards but nope. So far, so good. I'll update as I use it more.

If you're looking for a sturdy, yet lightweight - but will hold a hefty amount - easy to assemble, AWESOME twin size bed frame, look no further!!!! This bed frame is AMAZING! Plus, I love how low to the ground it is so my 2 1/2 year old son isn't afraid to sleep on it!!It was so simple to put together, I did it on my own within 20 minutes! It's lightweight to move around where ever you want it in your bedroom space but it's also so sturdy and comfortable! No creaking noises and well I'm just obsessed! As soon as I can afford this same bedframe but in the queen size for my room and queen size mattress - I WILL BE PURCHASING IT ASAP!!!

A fairly basic unit which leaves one wondering if it would indeed support the "1600 lbs Load-Bearing" mentioned in the description. It's held up all right so far supporting a couple of hundred or so, which is good enough, I guess.Assembly was fairly straightforward, with a light duty-ish tool included to tighten the bolts/screws.One downside it that the unit provides no means to keep a mattress from sliding around on top of it once placed there. The mattress just rests atop the rectangular metal frame.

I like the material it is very easy to assemble. I like how I can dismantle it when I have to move and it is durable

Surprisingly very light weight, but very strong as well. The entire package feels like it weighs less than 40lbs.No I did not actually weigh it...The frame is so simple to build that a child could probably figure it out. Simple clean instructions. Literally only 3 piece variations and screws. Only 2 of those pieces need screws, and the kit comes with Allen keys and a mini wrench.However did I mention this is easy to build?Rhetorical question.You don't even need the tools, you can screw it all together using your fingers.Great product.However one important point of concern. Since your mattress is held up by the slats. If you are very heavy and put all your weight on a single point, you may sink in a gap between the bars a little bit.We're talking if you were around maybe 250-300lbs for example.This effect also heavily depends on the softness of your mattress.Luckily I don't have this problem.If you are heavy or have a soft mattress I would recomend getting some kind of board to sit on top of the slats. But just be aware that the frame has little protrusions to keep your mattress in place.If you put a board on top there is nothing from stopping your mattress from sliding around on the frame...It is what's it is.

Very easy to put together but after about a month it’s very squeaky and the most weight ever put on it is 250 pounds when it can cover over 800 as per the instructions so that’s disappointing! It’s still holding strong though! So that a plus. Just make sure to buy wd40 too!

I was very surprised by the quality of this black metal bed frame. Took no time to assemble by myself. Easy to maneuver and put its place. The mattress fits perfectly on it. Looks modern and high enough to place a bedding container underneath. The only issue I foresee is the mattress moving around when someone is sleeping on it. The metal crosspieces are very smooth on their surfaces. I am planning to add Velcro tape strips onto a few of the metal surfaces under the mattress and then the mattress should stay in its place and not move when my grandkids are sleeping on it. Definitely would recommend this product.
