A Classic, Revived
This is a bit of a time capsule of what I am told was the state of the Bujinkan in the 80s. I got to read the paperback at my instructor's old dojo in about 1998. I'd always wanted to secure a copy of it for myself. As the new owner of a Kindle Paperwhite, I could not resist to make it my first purchase on the device. It's amazing to see some of the famous faces I've met over the years in their 20s and 30s. This has been a real treasure for me.

Practical and esoteric
Old school advice. If you have the time to really invest in and meditate on the principals here then it is a very fruitful book. If you want a good read about martial arts with an interesting picture of Japanese culture then this is also good.

A bridge of understanding.
This compilation of writings give an exceptional glimpse at the essence of the Bujinkan and the life of Toshitsugo Takamatsu, who transmitted an old understanding of man and his relationship to himself and reality to our cure to time.

Great reference material for Bujinkan students
Great reference material for Bujinkan students. Originally this was a monthly or quarterly newsletter. The book is a compilation of several years worth of the news letters.

Good for everyone
A special book with writings and pictures from soke and shihans but the best remains the letters of Takamatsu sensei.

Oldie but goodie, Great Book
This is a great book with a lot of basic information. I love all of Soke's books tho. This is a reprint of an old publication. Shinobi Exchange is also another great resource for authentic information on Ninjutsu.

Awesome
Good old school thoughts from Nagato, Ishizuka and soke. along with old interviews of Takamatsu. Sometimes the translation is hard to follow, but that is the way japanese to english can be
