PHLster Magazine Carrier Gen 2 (Full Size)

This mag carrier is assembled without any hardware except for the pull-the-dot belt loop snap. It uses a bungee cord to wrap the two pieces of kydex together. There are cut-outs for mounting their optional strut and belt clip. The retention of the carrier is adjusted by pulling on one end of the cord and tying a knot. The retention is not excellent but good enough for an inside-the-waistband design. This magazine carrier was not made so that a mag will "click" into it when inserted. It's a universal type of design that will fit any 9mm/.40 cal magazine with the rounds facing forward or backward. It fit all of my Glock 9mm magazines, all of my HK USP 40 magazines and all of my Glock G.A.P magazines. I would think it would also fit .357 Sig magazines, as well. PHLster has been making a splash in the concealed carry community for some time now. I purchased this item to see what all the noise was all about. I'm happy with this item. The bungee cord idea is a good and simple one.

This product was built well but doesn’t work great. Only worked OK with Glock mags. Offered too little retention with everything else. I’d didn’t carry great for me ether, when undoing my belt the dot lock would pop meaning spending extra time fiddling at the urinal drawing attention and looking like a creep. A total bummer stay away!

I've Had the phlster skeleton holster for my g27 for a while now recently bought the Mag carrier. Works great. Minimalist Design makes it great to carry everyday. Will always own phlster products. It is unique and very comfortable..I worry about how long the shock cord will hold up..but so far so good..

Great piece of kit, very easy and convenient to put on or take off. Retention isn't the best, even after shortening the shock cord.

Better get one, so when you shoot your CCW dry you have a reload!Thanks!
