9mm/.38/.357 Moon Clip Unloading Removing Tool for S&W and Other Revolver Brands

This tool is genius. It's very heavy duty and no doubt it'll last forever. Just a simple twist of the wrist and it pops out the brass with no stress to the moon clip. I'm using the stock moon clips from Chiappa. Works perfectly and the shaft will hold all 6 rounds of 357 I'm removing. Then just pour them into the trash. I know this looks like something super simple and it looks easy enough to make your own. Don't bother. These guys figured it out.

Easy to use & works very well. I unloaded four 8-shot moon clips in a minute. They came out so easily, I thought they were not snapped in correctly. The tube holds five 357 Magnum rounds. I've seen longer ones that hold more, but it's so easy to dump them out, it doesn't matter.

I like it alot. I needed it to re.ove 9mm shell casings from the moon clips. Works like it should no muss no fuss

This tool has made range trips so much easier with my Chiappa Rhinos and S&W Model 610s. The Chiappa’s are 357 mag, and while they don’t need moon clips, they come with them and it makes staging reloads or carrying a reload easier. The model 610s are 10mm and require moon clips, which is really why I got this tool. Instead of trying to remove spent brass from the clips by hand and trying not to bend the clip, this makes it a breeze and saves my fingers. It seems well made, and is worth the cost for the convenience it gives. Fits 38, 357, 10mm, and 40 S&W brass easily. I keep it in my range bag so it’s always in hand when I need it.

This thing is pure genius. I struggled with moon clips and bent a few until I found this. I admit I thought it was a little pricey at first, but the first time I tried it, and experienced the EFFORTLESS removal of casings, I never regreted the purchase. It fits perfectly in my Ruger case; apparently the area was intended for a cleaning rod. Nope. This thing has a valued home in the case.

Great quality tool. It’s the fastest way to take rounds and spent casings out of moonclips. Don’t own a gun that uses moonclips if you don’t own this tool.

I did not think this was necessary however after the first time using it i was glad i spent the money - if you use a lot of moon clips - you should have this tool - using it for a SW 686-6, 357
