I own both this one and the official Resmed version I could not tell the difference at all and saved a ton, do not hesitate on this one.

Although I have a new machine, I was still using my old mask and hadn't reordered new supplies. When I stopped by the Drs. office for a refill, they could not see me unless I made another appt with the dr (2 months down the road) and he gave me another prescription. YIKES!!!Did my research, found this mask on Amazon, and ordered it on Saturday. Arrived here on Tuesday and it fits perfectly! I forgot how good a new mask feels and helps you sleep. A++++ experience!

Purchased this strap to replace my old overstretched ResMed Airfit P10 headgear strap. Went with specific strap because it was build just like the original for a small fraction of the price . Unlike other sellers, these are quality made and function as well as the original. Would highly recommend if you want save some change .

I’ve used this head strap for a few months now and I am happy to report that the elastic still holds strong and it has not stretched out one bit. Overall very happy with my purchase.

I have loved this mask for years and my headgear finally wore out. I tried some other mask but wanted to go back to this one since it worked so good and found this headgear and it attached easily and after using it for a couple of months is still working great.

This blue/grey “Advanced Upgraded Headgear Strap” is more difficult than the ResMed headgear strap to attach at the base of the frame. The pink/grey strap in the photos is the ResMed Air Fit p10 nasal pillow frame headgear strap and is the fourth one I have had since I started using a CPAP machine 4 years ago, the ResMed strap does stretch out and I don’t want to mess with the clips so I have been getting new straps. My photo that says “yes” shows the “Advanced Upgraded” strap is over the short plastic piece; and the photo that says, “no” shows how the “Advanced Upgraded” strap is not all the way over the small plastic piece. The ResMed strap automatically goes right over the small plastic piece when you pull it all the way on. The “Advanced Upgraded” strap has to be pulled over the small plastic piece by moving it around as you pull it into place, I was being really careful not to break the frame. The grey fabric slot on the strap has to be completely over the small plastic piece to keep the strap from coming off. I showed comparison photos with the pink ResMed strap and the “Advanced Upgraded” strap. The slots to put the long plastic pieces into should be on the end of the strap as shown on the ResMed strap, the “Advanced Upgraded” strap slot is too far from the end. The “Advanced Upgraded” grey fabric with the slot is very stretchy which also made it difficult to slip it correctly over the short plastic piece and makes me wonder how long it will stay attached.The only difference in the two p10 ResMed frames in my photos is the plain white nasal pillow is a small and the nasal pillow with the purple edge is a size extra small. The frame sizes are exactly the same, I always like to keep a spare.The other thing I don’t like about the “Advanced Upgraded” strap is that once I adjusted the strap with the buckle to fit my head, the buckle ended up being right above my ear, which is not comfortable for side sleeping. I am guessing if you sleep on your back it probably won’t bother you. The “Advanced Upgraded” strap may be too small/tight for someone with a larger size head than mine, I have a fairly small frame and did not have much strap to spare to make the strap larger.I tried putting the straps on my head as shown in the product page photo on the mannequin and it would not stay on. I had to put the top strap all the way on top of my head and the bottom strap at the base of the back of my head. I always put the back of my strap under my hair in the back to help hold it on and also to keep the strap from making ridges in my hair.I gave the “Advanced Upgraded” strap 3 stars because you can make it work even though it takes some effort and may be uncomfortable because of the buckle. As far as the price goes I just looked at some of the ResMed p10 straps available on Amazon and the best price for the size small pink/grey strap is about $4 or $5 more than the current “Advanced Upgraded” strap price. The ResMed blue/grey strap runs about $12 more.For me, the extra cost of the ResMed straps are worth it.

Easy install

I had my original headband for more than a year. The replacement attached correctly but the material it is made of lost its elasticity in a few short weeks. I will be buying OEM from now on.

After using ResMed CPAP for a year I had found the system gimmicky, initially stressful to wear because of all the marketing needs for personal care and equipment care with daily reports.Thank God there are alternatives like these head straps that work better than the original and a fraction of the cost.Hope to see more alternative products like these that can help users with affordable and take better care for their sleeping needs.
