this is one of the best books that I have ever read
As a retired pastor, this is one of the best books that I have ever read. If you're interested in building up your faith in Christ, and reaching your community with the Gospel, then this is the book for you. Dr. Jerry Falwell, started a church in his hometown, in rural Virginia, with about 35 church members. Almost immediately, the church began to grow by leaps and bounds. Many times, the membership of their church would almost double in size, from week to week. Today they have over 25,000 church members in addition to the largest evangelical university, in the world. As in the book of Acts, these things were not accomplished by their own might or power, but by the power of the Holy Spirit working in, and through, them. This book offers you a step by step, spiritual blueprint, of how they did it. And you can do it, too! Also, if you can buy the kit, it includes a study guide that would make a great Bible study. I have personally given several of these books away to fellow Christians, and pastors. Maranatha!

I'm Liberal and I Liked This Book and Found It Incredibly Helpful
I never dreamed I'd find myself reading a book by Jerry Falwell. But I just started studying theology and this was an assigned reading. This book TRANSFORMED my prayer life. It has all sorts of helpful insight into how to grow in faith through prayer, along with inspiring stories about some of Falwell's beginnings with Thomas Road Baptist Church and Liberty University. I have to say that his life and the strength of his faith are inspiring, and I found myself wanting to have a dedication similar to his. That said, there are some things that rubbed me the wrong way, but overall, I got a lot out of the book. And I'm not sure that there are any other liberals out there who would even consider reading one of his books, but in case there are, it can be a transforming book. If you're looking to become more faithful in prayer, this book is a great help. I'm glad I read it.

Inspirational from our bother Falwell
Need a spiritual boost, read this thirty one day journal. Dr Falwell share from his heart what is to be a men of faith. There are many doctors in theology but there are few as this man of God. What make the difference, that's the question. If you review his life what will you find that make this man special or different. What make him special is that he was a men of prayer, a man of faith, a man of vision. But I don want to give you more information, just by this book and see it yourself.

Excellent book!
This book is filled with great ways on how to allow God to stretch your faith and take you deeper in your Christian walk as you make Jesus your passion and focus! Prayer is crucial and I am challenged to pray bigger and with more faith! This book is a wonderful testimony of what God can do as you seek Him first and let Him lead you.

Challenging and rewarding.
Building Dynamic Faith by Dr. Jerry Falwell (5 Stars)This is a challenging and rewarding day by day devotional. You will grow as a believer as a result of reading and following the advice in this book. However, this study would be much better if they author refused to โproof-text,โ and used only one or two versions of the Bible, instead of the five that he used.

Build it, and it will come
If you're in a slump or turning point, this book is especially for you. Falwell was a man of faith from beginning to end and he writes at the age of 71. He is inspiring. Each devotional has a real life, daily application that is sure to set you on a path to establishing a relationship with God.

some good steps to follow
Like the book overall. At times it seems that the writing emphasizes doing it the way Dr. Falwell did it so that you can have success. However I think that it is clear enough that each one must seek God and move forward in faith for whatever God has for them in the future.

excellent book, faith builder
Jerry Falwell Sr. walks the reader through a one-month faith building devotional journey, challenging the reader along the way. As a Liberty University student, I enjoyed reading about Falwell's dream and the inception of the University, which was a result of Falwell's (and others) faith in Christ. He challenges the reader to identify and pursue their BHAG (read the book to find out what this means!)
