It’s really handy how it switches through different measurements. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because i am still learning how to use a digital tape measure so I can’t be 100% on accuracy. But it measures pretty darn close. I did several tests measuring with this tape measure vs traditional take measure and they weee exact every time.

I waited 50 years for this product. I saw a huge one in 1971 (cost over $700). I was at a summer aerospace job. This full-featured unit cost less than $24 delivered.! Light moves at 1ft/nanosec. This measures to 1/8th of an inch. That's a hundredth of a foot precision. 1/100th of a ns requires counting at 100 Ghz. And it's very user friendly. Backlit, it measures distance, area, volume, and has 2 cool Pythagorean modes, two levels, and even let's you add or subtract measurements. It even optionally includes the length of the device. It measures in feet, inches, feet&inches, or meters!

I do like this digital tape. Reaches out to 100 yards, but not during the day time. Indoors it is great. Red dot can't be seen unless it's after sundown. Other than the short window of use for outside measurements I really like this tape.

I love this little bugger and can't believe I've been struggling with a metallic pull-out measurer for so long! You know the kind I mean...you have to tug it out by the arm-length, try to get it even with the edge you're trying to measure while it twists on you, and when you've gotten your measurement, it comes reeling back as if it's going to take your hand off.No more of that with this measurer. Turn it on, put the edge of the measurer where you want to start the measurement and press the measure button.This one also has two leveler bubbles, which really helped me to keep a straight line to the end, assuring accuracy. It has a fair amount of buttons, which I was wary about, but the instruction pamphlet is succinct. Also, the buttons are fairly intuitive to use. I even use the +/- with ease, which I didn't think I'd even try. But, that's how easy this device is to play with.It also remembers your measurements which is handy. I'm not always organized enough to have pen and paper at the ready, and my memory for tons of numbers is...well, let's just say I'm no Rainman.Lastly, it saves on the hands. My manual measurer wreaked havoc on my tendonitis/arthritis. This has been a godsend.

Would not read over 100’ during day time. I bought specifically for a landscaping job. Works great otherwise.

It's a must have tool for your interior design and decorating needs! Precision is beyond what you expect from a unit with that price; very handy and light. Buy it!

Working as described, the only thong that annoys it is kinda slow , takes like 5 sec to measure.
