Used this product for years but always store bought. Was afraid to buy on line but glad I did. Same quality as local store but not all stores regularly stock my color (6A), sometimes hard to find, sells out quickly.

This stuff is my holy grail for keeping grays in check between salon visits. The color match (6 Light Brown) is always spot on, and it blends so seamlessly with my natural color. I like Clairol Root Touch up in that the little kit with the dish and the brush makes it fast and easy to touch up those pesky roots in between trips to the salon or whole head colors. Clairol is the only brand that will truly completely cover my very resistant grays-my hair is coarse and doesn't take color all that well. Because my hair is very, very thick I really should use two kits and a time. The negative for me is the cost. Whether here or in the store the cost of the touch up kit is basically the same as the cost of the complete color kit. So buying two touch up kits is actually more than one full color kit, even though there is only about 1/4 the amount of hair dye in it. That's a lot to be paying to get a teeny plastic brush applicator and mixing cup. If I buy the whole no little brush applicator and a TON of leftover unused color. So, to deal with my roots I have to choose between buying the full kit (and just use an old brush) and throw half of it away or buy one touch up kit and not really get all my roots covered.

This worked great. If you have long hair pull up pony tail on top of head. This really helps get the grays. First time used it a not my last. Worked better than other products tried.

Love this product! I love the simplicity, easy to use, no mess, easy to follow direction especially for someone like myself who at first was skeptical and not comfortable doing the "do it yourself" mode especially for first time and after a while, it became natural. Most of all, it's affordable. Love the color, and it covers my gray for at least 4-6 weeks which is long enough for me compared to 3-4 weeks. It definitely lessen the frequent visit to my hair salon. I'm so glad I found these!

Perfect match for the 5R hair color of the same brand. Love it!

It was easy to use but I am not pleased with the grey hair coverage. I had to go back and touch up "stubborn " greys. Fortunately I had saved the leftover product. I left the initial batch on 20 minutes the the touch up batch on 20 minutes and I can still see where the grey will be peeking through soon. Maybe it's my hair, but the other grey sections took the color well. I won't buy this again.
