- This beautifully styled ultrasonic model has a warning sound for low water level,power up etc.Many diffusers don't come with a measuring cup for the water,ours has one.It locks so that the oil doesn't spill,so you can't just twist it on and off like a water bottle cap,you can use both high grade pure essential oils and those with lesser grade and the scents and fragrances can fill several rooms,especially the more potent ones,never had a problem with being able to smell the oils.
- Some will call for more drops than others but that is based on the fragrance of the oil.For example, I use more drops of lemon oil than lavender because the lavender has a really strong potent smell. If you put too much in you will have to turn it off more frequently because it's just too strong. - The diffuser has two settings.If you press the "on" button once the diffuser will run for about 30 seconds,shut off and then automatically turn back on.If you press that same button twice instead of once,the diffuser will run consistently until it runs out of water.You use both settings depending on how much fragrance you want or how long you want the water to last.If the unit runs dry,it powers off.So no need to worry,what will happen if it runs out of water during the night,it just turns off.
- The power button has a start up mode with a green indicator light, and an operational mode with a red indicator.The other button is strictly for the lights. If using them,it's up to you. You can have the lights off and use just the diffuser. The "on" light stays on consistently. It is just a small red or green button depending on the mist setting. It could be used as a humidifier even without the oil.
- The LED nightlight function,provides many different choices,for the light's color and intensity,clicking the LIGHT button,it toggles thru [1]kaleidoscope colors,constantly morphing thru the rainbow [2]dark red [3]bright red [4]dark blue [5]bright blue [6]dark yellow etc,including white,until it finally turns the light back off.So you can select morphing colors,or find your favorite color,or even chose the color for some "light healing" that corresponds to the essential oil you are evaporating.
