very flimsy. Would not protect the dog very well from a sudden stop or accident. Our other seat is much sturdier.

I actually bought this to block my stuff from falling down when I drive and it works great!Also, because it just holds pretty many items, I can just move this container to move it once.

My 8 lb cat preferred this to an enclosed travel case in the car. It's easy to clip her in securely and it is really easy to put in/out of the car.
