What is the temperature range to apply?

LIQUIDROOFTAPE APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS Mix before application to ensure uniform color and consistency. Product should not be thinned. Apply by brush, trowel, piping bag or roller as received. For cold weather application, keep material stored above 65°F (18°C). Do not apply in temperatures below freezing, above 120°F (49°C) or if rain is expected within 2 hours. Apply LiquidRoofTape on all metal seams, joints, fasteners and penetrations at a rate of 50 linear feet of seams per gallon at 3" wide or approximately 25 to 50 sq. ft. per gallon. Coat fasteners at least 2" in all directions; apply at a rate of approximately 360 fasteners per gallon. LiquidRoofTape should have a buildup of approximately 1/8" when complete. For areas of light foot traffic, apply by brush or roller at a rate of 25 sq. ft. per gallon. Note: Application rate is job-specific. Additional material may be required. Allow the first coat to dry a minimum of 3-12 hours, or until it can be walked on, before coating with GacoRoof 100% Silicone Roof Coating (product is moisture-cure, low humidity will result in longer dry times); coat within 48 hours.

Can I apply this on a flat torch down asphalt roof?

yes you can. I used it on a flat roof I had many problems with. Problems solved. Remember you cannot paint it and if it has to be resealed you will need to use a silicone product again.

how much area does a gallon of GR1600 cover?

Gaco recommends no more than 100 square feet per gallon but we found actual coverage in the field is about 75-80 square feet per gallon. Two coats are required.

can this be applied over a non rubber roof on a rv? i think ours is some kind of fabric maybe, its not rubber thats for sure and its a 2015 tt.

Well it sticks to just about anything. If it is asphalt based I would say no. But most other uses it works. Does the RV roof retract or fold? If so the I would not use this even though it is flexible.

This is not a cheap product but does a great job! You get what you pay for and this in the long run will saves the price of the paint and problems. Easy to apply and it bonds well to the aluminum and seals the seams that I had leaking.

Got to fix a leaky fiberglass roof. scrubbed it clean. Not very runny. Put two coats. So far no leaks on light rain. Hope it holds as the roof has ponding water

High quality product. Works much better than the "standard" products carried by Home Depot or Lowes. Really seals the cracks in a flat roof. Stays flexible and doesn't crack unlike the Henry products. I have coated my roof several times in the last 2 years with Henry 687/587/289/208R and I still have leaks. Gaco roof solved the issues that developed while I was using Henry 687/587/289/208R. After it rains the water "beads up" in the ponding areas coated with Gaco roof. Plan ahead to use the entire container in one day. Once opened it begins to cure.

My roof has a rubber sheet roof, It has leak for 2 years since it was replaced. I used this to seal the edges of the sheet, and it has worked very very well, I have not had a drop of water inside since putting this down. Completely sealed the roof and solved my issue. Very happy, well worth the cost.
