Zero hassle mashed potatoes
Deadass one of the best kitchen purchases I made. This thing makes ricing potatoes mad easy with almost no effort, and cleanup is quick too. Super simple to use, feels solid in the hands, and doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all. Turned my mashed potatoes smooth as hell with no lumps. If you cook a lot or just care about good mashed potatoes, this is a no-brainer. Definitely worth the bread — easy 5 stars.

Heavy Duty and Easy to Use
This was more heavy duty than I was expecting. The plastic is very dense, and feels like it might have metal inside the handle. The weight of it might be difficult for those with significant disability, but I found that it made it easy to generate enough force to easily break down potatoes. I didn't have issues with potato getting stuck in the holes. It was also a bit larger than I expected from images, so make sure you have enough drawer space to store it. It has tabs on the top handle that slot into tracks on the bottom handle. This makes it very easy to use once you get familiar with the movement.

A must for pillowy soft mashed potatoes and for making gnocchi. Well made to last a lifetime.
I generally regard most kitchen gadgets as a waste of time, money and space- people who can't cook try to make up for it/ cover it up by buying a bunch of toys to make it look like they're a good cook. "Look at all of the gadgets I have, I'm obviously a GOURMET!!" I keep basic tools in my kitchen and get the most of them. Having said that however, if you want really creamy, light, fluffy mashed potatoes, there is no substitute for using a ricer. I've tried beating them with a wire whip, I've tried whipping them in the mixer etc etc but riced potatoes just have the texture of clouds and nothing compares. Zero lumps ever. If you're making gnocchi you must have perfectly smooth, bone dry potato puree. A ricer provides that. This device is pretty spendy but it is really well made and heavy duty. With normal use and no abuse it should last a lifetime. There is ample leverage to easily press the potatoes through the holes. The capacity is not that great but for the amounts of potatoes that you'd rice for your family dinner it'll take a minute or two. You can fit about enough potatoes into it for one person and it's about a 30 second journey to fill it, squeeze it, and undo it to get ready for the next batch. So, 2 people per minute, more if you're coordinated and energetic. Recommended if you eat a lot of pureed vegetables or make gnocchi and the cost doesn't seem silly for a single use tool.

Creates fluffy mashed potatoes
This little gadget was easy to use. Just don't over fill. Created very smooth and fluffy mashed potatoes. I took away a star because it was way smaller than I expected. Couldn't get a large potato in it. Be sure to peel your potatoes first. Can't wait to use this on sweet potatoes. Very well made and has a good weight. Easy to clean.

Great Potato Ricer
GLORIOUS mashed potato’s. My girl was feeling come potato’s the other day but didn’t want to go through the whole mashing process by hand so we ended up ordering out. I bought this for her that evening and we’ve been eating the best homemade mashed potato’s since. It is a bit pricey, but feels so sturdy the quality and material are top tier, like it’ll last a lifetime quality, amazing. The clean up after is also so easy, would recommend a thousand times again.

Poor quality Materials. Broke in less than 10 uses.
I read a cooking article that recommended this Masher. I liked the design so I ordered it for my wife and I to use. At first we liked the action of the masher. It is easy to clean. It takes up a lot of room and storage is an issue. Today, my wife was using the masher and it broke. One of the plastic knobs chipped off. And the piece went into the food. I will see if we can return it since I believe we have only had it for 13 days! Get something else.

Easy no clumps mashed potato
In your endless scroll on tiktok, you probably saw a video of someone using this device and felt the urge to buy it.... I feel you. That's exactly what happened to me. I waited a while to actually buy it because, i don't really trust an hyped product on social media, but then, i remembered, when I was young, my mom used to make potato rice and i wanted to eat some, just like the old days, so i finally ordered it. Great decision. I waited a bit to use it when it arrived, you know.. I wasn't sure. One night while i needed to make mashed potato, i wondered how soft they would be if I'd rice them first and oh god, I'm glad i did! They're the softest! So good! No more clumps in my homemade mashed! They where soooo soft and delicious! My 5 yo also agreed, they are now the BEST mashed potato. Its really easy to use too, no real effort needed. My 5yo also does it, with a little help but she loves ricing them. It's also pretty easy to clean, only tips i would give is to wash the left over potato with hot water right after using it, sonthe potato won't stick to it and it's way easier to clean then. I wish you all soft and delicious mashed!

Excellent potato ricer
Excellent potato ricer. Easy to use and very solid. The key is not the overcook the potatoes though. Otherwise, the mash turns very gluey.

Empfehlenswert.

The best ricer I've ever used!
Just used this last night, and it blew my mind! Lol seriously I've had a couple of heavy duty ricers and they did a good job, but they always had 3 main issues, first holes all around (causes the mash to spurt out all over the place, instead of straight down into the bowl), second, less waste (others left anything from 1 to 2 cm of potato in the bottom of the press unable to go through), and third clean up, (potato gets into all the nooks and crannies making it a pain to clean). This ricer though only has holes in the bottom, and due to the unique design it leaves a tiny smear of potato, less than a mm, and clean up took seconds, run under the tap, quick once over with soapy sponge to remove any starch, then rinse. Also I have quite weak hands so the design means I can use it a lot easier. The only slight negative is the size of the hopper, you can fit about 4 or 5 large (think large baked potato cut into 4) pieces of potatoes in, but it's so quick and effortless that it's not a bother. If you want a ricer buy this, I know it's pricey but it's quality, I'm never a slave to brands, I also look at reviews to get the best value. I can not recommend this highly enough!
