This item comes in a resealable plastic bag and then it comes in a protective bag to keep it clean. The tie has a strong metal clasp at the top but behind the knot of the tie.The tie measures 35cm / 13.7 inches long by 6cm / 2.3 inches wide and is made from 100% microfibre giving the tie a soft and shiny material, the tie says dry clean only. The length is a good size as it’s not too long or short. It is attached to the shirt with a stud and a spring clip. The spring can be pulled back which it then holds its position, and you can then push the stud through the top buttonhole before pushing the clasp back down which secures it in place. I found it troublesome pushing the stud through while the shirt button was unfastened, as I couldn’t fasten the shirt button afterwards, and I found it easier to push it through while the top button was secured in place on the shirt. The tie gave a good effect that it was a real one, but it is faster to tie a proper tie than to fix this one in place, though this is easier of you struggle to tie a tie.This tie is great for any occasion as it looks smart and is easy for kids to wear.
