The jars are fantastic but only 4 stars because the lids are supposed to be one piece but instead they’re the 2 piece seal and ring type. I bought these to make sun tea and one selling point was the 1 piece lid.

The canning jars are awesome, but the seller I bought them from is ripping people off. I bought a two-pack of 64 oz wide mouth jars. I paid $26.99 for the two-pack. I had no idea what they usually cost, because I've never bought them before. I looked in Walmart and I paid $13.97 for a six-pack. I paid almost half for three times more jars. I sent these jars back. Buyer beware because some sellers are out to get you.

I can use my plastic wide mouth Mason tops lids for leakproof storage. Afterwards, USA made Ball jars are quick and easy to clean with the sprayer on a sink or faucet, though they are dishwasher safe. The larger size makes a half gallon at a time without having to divide my kefir grains into smaller jars. I can also ferment large vegetables like cabbage.
