MarucciYouth Elite Padded Slider Shorts

Great sliders and very comfortable for my son. They come with a cup already installed but you can easily remove it and use any other cup. I read somewhere it was a "soft cup" but it seems to be made of hard plastic and is comparable to the other cups we have from Shock Doctor, etc.Padding on the sides is a nice tough although the textured padding can be visible through baseball pants so if you wear tight pants you might not want the textured look of the padding to be visible. My son has only used these for 3 or 4 games so far but they seem durable and like they will hold up for a long time.The only negative is the sizing seems to run very small....My son wears Youth XL but based on previous reviews we got the XXL and are glad we did....they are still snug but he loves them....just order a size up if you are worried about fit.

Got size medium for 62# slim build 10 1/2 year old son for LL baseball. Fit perfectly although he does prefer to use his McDavid cup in place of the one provided. They have excellent padding though not at all bulky. My son usually likes Nike anything but he was pretty sold after trying these on. I think these are better than Nike & also the Adidas we most recently used. The only thing (which is definitely NOT a dealbreaker) is that you can lightly see the hexagonal imprint through his grey Nike baseball pants. Though, either he has not noticed it himself or doesn’t care since he didn’t mention it. Highly recommend!!

I want to start by saying the quality is without question, excellent. The material and workmanship of both the cloth and cup are hands down superb.Con is the size of the cup. My son is 5yrs old, 49inches tall and 48lbs so he is on the thi and tall side. That said the sliding shorts fit great but the cup makes it difficult to run normally.

Reviewers said these run on the small side, so I ordered a Medium for my small 11y/o and it's a perfect fit. It does come with a cup, it's a hard cup but seems softer than the normal plastic ones. He says he can't even feel the cup! He loves these shorts already. A good pair of these is hard to find. This is a winner! We have owned Easton and Franklin brands, but these are way better.

Product appears to be very well made except the waist is extremely small. The legs/hips fit fine. I ordered our 10 year old son a size medium. He is of slender build, thin waist, and average height, but the waistline on this underwear is very narrow and tight. I ordered these because he is slowly outgrowing his Under Armour cup boxer briefs size YS (youth small). The waistline on the medium Maruccis are much smaller than the Under Armour small.Of course when my son tried them on he ripped the tag off before I could determine that they didn't fit. I guess we cant return them now? Going to be hard to find someone the same height as my son but skiny enough to fit this waist. I'm not likely to order the size up because I feel like the waste will still be too tight and the legs will start to get too big and ride up, which defeats the point of the padded thigh.**Please note that in the photo that I have attached, I am comparing the waist size difference between the Mariucci mediums verses the Under Armor small

Quality is really good—especially the padding on the thighs. My son usually wears a youth XL/16 in pants and according to the reviews I ordered a XXL and they fit great.

Good quality sliding shorts and my son loves them. They do run a little small as he normally wears a medium in pants but we went with the large and they fit perfect. Unlike the picture they a absolutely white instead of the light grey they appear in the picture. The only area that is grey is the dark areas on the sides. Great quality product.

Great shorts and really nice cup. The reason I gave 4 stars is that cup is a bit big for my 8 yo son who is 5'1" and 120 lbs so I ended up ordering a comfy cup on Amazon for him. Shorts are top notch and great sliding shorts with cup pocket. Fit him really well. I ordered a XXL for him.

Es un producto muy cómodo y funcional. Practico béisbol y sirve muy bien, sobre todo en las protecciones laterales funciona muy bien para las barridas.
