Got this for my kindergartener to make sure he had a lunch container that he could open/close on his own. The snaps are sturdy but easy enough for small hands to use. The largest compartment isn't quite large enough to fit a sandwich, even when cut into 4 thin strips but could pack it separately.

I bought 3 of these boxes last summer and it’s been one of the best purchases I’ve made. We take them to the park, beach, school, and much more. My kids are always excited for all of the options in each box and I truly think it helps them eat more variety of food. The only Reason I only have 4 stars is that they do actually leak and I thought the boxes had the patter. Since Amazon had you select a pattern but the boxes are actually solid colors.

A perfect solution to minimizing using plastic bags in school lunches. I ordered one for both my five year old and three year old. I had read reviews this might be difficult to open so I had my littles practice at home one time before packing it into their lunch boxes and they did great with it. It took a little getting used to, but now the tabs open and close no problem! I enjoy coming up with fun lunch ideas to put into their little boxes, and the portion sizes seem perfect. These fit in their standard lunch boxes no problem. It also cleans very easily.

I absolutely love using Bentgo boxes for my 6 y/o child’s lunch box. Keeping snacks from getting smooshed has been great!Unfortunately, I have purchased three of these red ones in a year, and all of them cracked with very little effort. My newest one cracked after 3 uses! The first one was under warranty and replaced, but I forgot to register the other 2 so I was out of pocket for them.For a product geared towards children’s usage, they don’t seem to hold up as well as others. I hope they keep working on how to improve the longevity because I really want to continue using them but I think I am just wasting $$ continuing to purchase the replacement trays.

I bought this bento box about 8 months ago for my 5yo daughter. WE LOVE IT!! This bento box is not huge, but it works for us since she is not a big eater. Definitely big enough for a sandwich (cut in half and put in end to end) and spots for multiple other sides. I love the number of spots for different kinds of foods. So my little one gets a small amount of multiple items. Unfortunately, my daughter dropped her box last week just right and it cracked in the corner and would not latch and seal, plus it was sharp where it broke. I did not hesitate to order another one that night. Also, it fits in a lunch box. HIGHLY RECOMEND!!

Price wise compared to other similar bento boxes these are amazing. They hold a good amount of food and are easy to clean. My only issue is my 3 year olds can’t open them themselves yet. The clasps are quite hard to do up and undo. Other than that a great buy.

Best for preschool aged children or for snacks not lunch meals in terms of portion sizing. Great value for money and sturdy however.
