I am very please with the deep color pattern of all valances, the contrasting striped bottoms add to the over all looks of all valances, and for the price paid the material is good (though a bit thin) although I don't mind the weight of them because drapes underneath are heavy blackout drapes so the look is perfect for me. Just the right amount of elegance and country style to my princess bedroom with Wild horses painting. I am a bit disappointed that the previous price of $7.31 for the same valance has increased by $5.00 otherwise I would purchase 6 more of them. Amazon's loss...

I bought three of these. I am not using them as a balance, BUT as a cafe curtain. I did not want to always have my blinds up, so, applied these to the bottom 18 inches, and this way, I can leave the blinds mostly in place, and my cats can, put their heads under the curtains to watch the world, or I can open them. They are not black out, BUT they are also not transparent. My cats are still armed with all their claws, and these curtains do get some abuse, so likely will need to replace in about 6 months - BUT under normal wear, these will last a long time. Sort of a neutral color, without being plain and boring.

I absolutely love, love these Waverly valances. I ordered 5. Very well made and great price at $17.94 each. I had to order one more because the length differs with each valance by at least a 1/2". I have 3 sets on one window and the other window I needed two but they were both a different length. I ordered another one today and the price was $12.74. Wow $5.00 difference per valance. Wish I this deal last week. I love these valances and look absolutely beautiful so I purchased another one today and hopefully this will match one of the two valances I need for my 2nd window. That's why I gave it a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star. They are more beautiful in person.

I have had these before and love the black background. They are very well made . I did sew another row of stitches on top so I could use a smaller curtain rod diameter. I now have these valances in my dining room ,living room, and family room . They say dry clean but I did wash mine on very low and with cold water . No bleeding of the colors. I took them from the washing machine and just let them air dry on hanger . They came out fine. A little touch of low iron along the braiding on bottom . They are plenty wide. For a standard window I used two for each window because I wanted them full but you might be able to use one per window if you want a flatter look to show the scalloped bottom. Waverly has very nice fabrics. I had no problem with difference in color or braid and mine were each the exact same length. I just bought rugs for my three rooms and they coordinate nice with these valances. The colors are not real bright they are a little subdued . Love them.

I bought this for my father’s assisted living apartment. Window treatments must have a white back. After failing to find anything he liked in stores I found this one on Amazon and he loved it. There were issues though (photos included): 1) The valance failed the requirements at the facility as the red seams show on the back. 2) The fabric is thin and bled in the packaging - something to keep in mind when cleaning or putting against a wall or layered on shears. 3) There are multiple snags in the fabric. Still, from a distance they won’t be noticed. 4) The casement pocket seams are poor quality. The tension on the sewing machine was off. 5) I spent an hour ironing the valance to get the wrinkles out. Plus, the binding on the bottom edge doesn’t follow the curve well so that takes extra attention. I added a white backing to the balance which got it approved and gave it more volume on the window. I also stitched over the casement stitching to make it more substantial. So, I spent 2 hours and another $6 In supplies to finish the window treatment but it looks nice. But, if my father hadn’t liked it I would have returned it immediately because it wasn’t worth the extra time and effort. Still, I only paid $5.49 for the valance and knew I wasn’t getting a super high quality item but with the Waverly name on it I had my finger crossed. I gave the item 3 stars for the pretty print and low price. I took 2 stars off for quality.

These are beautiful valances. I really tried to avoid putting up a flowered valance but I couldn't find anything else that worked, so I bought these. They are well made and the material is hefty. That's important for my situation because I get a lot of light through my windows-the sun doesn't come through the valance. A valance looks really cheap, in my mind, when the light comes through the fabric. The pattern of the fabric is soft and muted, so it doesn't jump out at you. It allows the other aspects of the room to be shown off. They are pretty long, but it works in my room, b/c it's a pretty large room.

These valances are just adorable. They make my kitchen feel so homey. I highly recommend them.

I had to cut it down a little to fit my bathroom window as I didn’t want it ruffled on the rod and a bit shorter and it turned out great. The scallops look really nice with it flat on the rod but you need to remember to take even amounts off both sides so the scallops are even. Really pleased with colours and used golden yellow accents in towels etc…..Would also look nice with green accents.

Colour a deep, rich red and a true Waverly design. Curtains are soft and hang beautifully. Happy with window look.

It looks beautiful from a distance. Up close the material is not good quality. I like it nevertheless.
