Sluggish response and awkward controls
I’m a pretty big fan of indoor RC helicopters and I’ve gone through many over the years, my favorite being a 3.5 channel Syma. I’d seen the 4.5 channel versions like this before, those with additional rotors on the sides of the body, but this was the first time flying one for me. Initial reactions to the helicopter out of the box were very good, it is well built, lightweight, it has fold back rotors and lighting, and a straightforward controller. I’m also a big fan of the fact that not only does it come with two batteries, but also that they charge with micro-USB which is a huge plus over yet another proprietary charger to keep track of.Flight performance early on was just so-so. It responds to controller input, but it isn’t “snappy” like almost every drone or helicopter I’ve flown before. I also didn’t find the extra rotors on the sides to provide any benefit over a standard 3.5 channel helicopter. I did manage to bump it into a wall here or there, sending it careening to the floor and it recovered from those crashes perfectly so I would say it is reasonably durable. The battery life is also pretty good and having two means you can fly for a while. In the end, I just didn’t have a very fun experience flying this helicopter. A combination of a variety of aspects such as the awkward controls (though that’s potentially just due to the extra channel for the additional rotors), the lag, and slow speed just left me feeling underwhelmed. It’s not terrible, but it really wasn’t fun to play with.

Very light, suitable for indoor play
This rc helicopter is very durable. It's just that the remote control is often disconnected and needs to be restarted before it can be used. ,do not know why. But it flies smoothly. Suitable for flying indoors. Because it is so small, there is no way to fly in the wind. But be careful when flying indoors, its propellers will still be cut off. Kids love to play and have fun.

Slightly more complicated than a drone. Cool!
This helicopter is a mix between helicopter and drone, as it does have the red side blades that allow it to strafe left and right. The exposed blades make this a step up in terms of audience and control from a kid-friendly drone with blade guards. We cut a leaf off one of our houseplants by accident with this guy—not that it's frighteningly dangerous, mind you! This helicopter, in many ways, is more fun to fly and requires a tad more finesse than a standard drone. That's a welcome feature in my book, not a flaw. Its hover is stable AND it has those wonderful detachable batteries that don't require any battery compartments or wires. You just slide the battery back and it pops off the base of the helicopter. Slide another one on and click, you're ready to fly again. One of my favorite RC fliers at the moment.

Worked half the time
Product stopped working after a week. Even during first use it worked half the time. Took forever to actually get it off the ground
