This ukulele started out as a perfect entry level instrument- not low-end but not pricey either. After a few weeks of playing, it became evident that a fret (#2) had moved and hit a string when an A# was played. Instead a clear note there was just a thunk. Being within the return period and who knows what else might "pop up" I returned it. Perhaps the wood in the neck hadn't cured completely? Another day, another brand and I move on.
