This hand fuel pump answers my needs to transfer the fuel from an old car before it gets towed to a recycling center. The hose is long enough. It does not take much time to prime it to get the fuel start flowing. It is now in my truck's emergency kit. For the price, I am pleased with the purchase.

Bought this for my 2004 Tacoma since I keep gear with me for overland trips. The pump works great, but I recommend getting rid of the red tubing since its pretty short and kinks easily. Replace it with something longer that doesn't kink.

I purchased this hand pump to replace an old one on my fuel caddy. This hand pump unit leaked out of its seams from the first time I used it and it never could generate a strong flow. I finally took it apart to see what was leaking. The rubber bladder in the pump unit itself had a small cut in it. It actually looks like it was cut with a knife. There was nothing in the unit that could have created such a slit in the rubber bladder. In the attached photo I have inserted a white twist tie in the slit to show it size and where it is on the bladder. The best case is that it was some how damaged upon assembly and no quality control was exercised. The worst case is that it was intentional cut so as to create a safety issue for the user. It is dangerous junk.

Siphoning gasoline out of a full (but suddenly leaky fuel tank worked well. Hand squeeze the handle only 3-4 times and hold the valve open and watch the siphon pull down the fluid quickly. much easier to use than an old 'bellows' type plastic siphon which cracked when I tried to use it!

It is a big failure as a siphon. I pumped the handle multiple times while gas was running into my lawnmower gas tank, when i stopped pumping it stopped running the gas. I expected it to run like a normal siphon, get it going and it continues until you are the tank is full.

This works amazing! Tried the other kind....and it was akward and didn’t last. Love this! Easy and simple to use! Thanks!

The hand pump works perfectly. Unfortunately, the hose was FOLDED in the box resulting in three permanent kinks in the hose. It's still usable, but I would have preferred it if they had wound it up instead of folding it.

Hose to flimsy. Other then that it's ok
